The park was beautiful and very quiet. At one point, we were the only ones in our loop camping. We did experience some misinformation such as a host being available; there was not one available. The park ranger passed through a couple of times but otherwise, did not see them much. The camp rules indicate that you cannot bring in your own firewood. With us not familiar with the area, we were unable to locate firewood for purchase. The shower facilities were grossly dirty and no hot water available for showers. Thankfully we have a full bath in our camper. All in all, even with the disappointing comments I've made, we are planning to return with the knowledge that we have and plan better next year.

May 18 through 21 stay. Our site (#13) was close to level and required little blocking to level our camper. It was adequate in length and had water and electric. SIte 13 sits between a main drive and the access drive to sites , so less private than I would have preferred. We arrived mid afternoon with no manned check in, but the next day did speak with the camp host who was very welcoming. I drove through other roads to look over the amenties and noticed there were what appeared to be older bath facilities on some loops, but there is a new large bath and toilet that was very clean and handicap accessible. The park was very quiet, but 10 minutes from Rogers with good dining and any other resources you might nee. I would definitely stay again.

The camp site was perfect. Showers were a bit of a walk. The primary negative was the showers. I will never understand why showers are constructed with very durable tile and with very nice stall dividers for privacy but the floor slopes toward the area used for dressing and the shower curtains are way to short. The result is one has to try to dress while standing in a puddle of water! It’s like a 10 year old did the design! Also showers were nearly cold. Other than that it was a great experience.

Nice camp area with clean bath and shower house. Hosts were good people. Will go back when we have a chance.

Close in location. Prefer sites in the 60s. We stayed sites 13 and 15. This area sites are a little closer together. Inconvenient trash disposal. For us locals, great weekend getaway 30 minutes from home!
