Amazing place to stay for a weekend or a couple weeks. Prairie Creek has a dump station with fresh water available 24 hours day!

It would have been a little better if the bathrooms were open.

Campsite was great. We did have trouble finding the dump station and the trash dumpster.

Our experience was great because of our friends and making the best of the situation, but definitely couldve been a lot better! Its obvious that the gentleman that lives by the gate absolutely hates his job and is a miserable person! He makes everyone aware of that and talks to people like they are absolute idiots! We asked about water not being on and he was extremely rude! We asked about trash service and again he was extremely rude!! He informed us that everything was on the website! Well theres a way to talk to customers and theres a way to not talk to customers! He should not have any interaction with the public at all! We will probably not go back there because of him, nor will we recommend going there to any of our friends!

The campground is very well kept and a nice place. We stayed at site #75 and had plenty of room. We stayed there the first week in March so the water wasn't on and the bathrooms weren't open. We are self contained so it wasn't a problem.

1st the negative: The problem is that your site descriptors are vague. You use 1 picture twice for each site. Also the road to come up from the back of the loop so you can back in was chained off in 2 places so there is no way our rv can make the tiny hair-pin turn to get in there. Also there was no mention on the booking site that the bathrooms were locked for the season. Our 2nd booked site was so un-level that we couldnt use it. It was about a 2 to 3 foot drop from front to back. In addition to this, the dump station is also not level. When you pull in your rv is nose up and tail down to an angle that when you pull your black tank valve, very little will come out because the dump valve is to the front of the tank and everything is angled to the back. We had to cut our stay short 1 day due to the site issues. You also need to deal with squatters who disclosed to us that they are there until someone kicks them out. One even refused to move when a reservation showed up causing the reservation to leave. At least thats what he told us.Positives: Let me start by saying this campground is very beautiful and many of the sites are level. There could be better signage for local contact if there are issues. C.O.E. Chief Thurman was very responsive when we called and he came out to help address our issues. He was very helpful in negotiating with a person in a tent reserved on site #75, which is a very long and level site. He convinced the person to move to site 80 (suitable for a tent not an rv) and let us have site 75 for our 2nd nite. Unfortunately for us, every thing was booked after that so we had to leave and eat the third night cost.Would we stay here again? Yes, close to friends and now knowing these issues, we can work around them.

PC is a great place to camp with the family. Site 075 is a great location, level, and easy to back in to.

If the park is closed, water is not turned on, and toilets are locked then do not allow camping in part of the park. And, do not charge full price for less than full services.

The alerts let us know that only restrooms opened in February were at the marina and the only water was near the dump station. We appreciated knowing this going in, so these werent problems for us. There are few sites open in February. Our site 75 was easy to back in & fairly level. It was damp so the closed roads were great for walking.

We had a great campsite at Prairie Creek. The sites are large with electric service. It was great that the water was still on for a few days of our stay. It would be a great addition to have the bathrooms on the #70s loop to be open for use in the November to spring months. The park hosts were very helpful, providing garbage cans that they purchased themselves. We spent several days mtn biking in Bentonville and Rogers. It was great to spend a day at Hobbs Conservation Area. It is a hidden gem.

Restrooms dirty, fire pits not cleaned out, no gate attendant. We were down at day use area listening to church when ranger asked about pass. We had to show all reservations for campground.

We expected a restroom to be open in the loop since no water was available at campsites. Hard to dry camp without facilities available.

Much of the campground was closed for the season. No individual site water. It was clean and well maintained. Pad for our 26 foot trailer required minimal leveling. Quiet at night except for minor city noise. Easy to get to and from for Crystal Bridges visit. Dumpsters were not available but host had a trailer for trash and offered its use.
