Grounds are very clean and nice. Sites were very unlevel and had drop off from slab that was dangerous coming out of camper. Hose connection was too far away from camp to connect to. Had to borrow a hose from neighboring campers to reach (connected to our hose) to fill our tanks. Do not recommend spot 036 at all. Friends stayed in site 034 which was better but still had dangerous high drop off from side of slab - made it difficult to get in and out of camper. Would definitely choose a different area of the park to stay.

Pretty park. The gate wasn’t manned when we came in but a lovely lady in a golf cart came around later to check us in. The bathrooms were quite dirty and one faucet was missing but there was plenty of toilet paper.

We had a wonderful time camping in October & really like this area of Prairie Creek campground. However, we had two issues camping in site 36. First the one edge of the asphalt pad was eroded away, assuming by prior storm drainage. Second, the water access is 50 away, not by the electric box. Be sure to have plenty of water hose. Other than that site 36 is a nice secluded spot.

Our site was incredibly unlevel. So we drove around and looked at many others. Most were really sloped. My levelers on my RV could not even get it level. Horrible sleeping

This site was always available, when things were booked up. Now I know why.The pad is the flatest part, as it's sort of a stepped hill from the road to the forest behind it. The pad it self is more narrow than listed at the usual spot a door would be. The dirt has eroded under the asphalt and it has cracked and fell away in places. This means we had to initially stack some rocks to allow a comfortable step in/out. The water, for reasons, is just under 50 ft away from the electrical stand. No other sites on the loop are that way, so not sure what's up there. It is close to the showers/bathrooms but to get there you walk around the loop to the road or cut through the green space and get eaten by chiggers. The dump station is outside the park, BTW, so that's a bit of a hassle. The park itself is pretty nice, but it seems like this loop doesn't get much attention.
