I tent camped solo at site 109 in February and had a great time! Had an excellent view of the water, right above the beach on a well paved area and plenty of room for vehicles. There were a couple smaller trees strong enough and close enough together to hammock from, but otherwise not many trees close by. I was able to grab some driftwood and a couple other downed limbs just a short walk away which was plenty to keep me warm in the 20 degree weather I enjoyed. Water was turned off for the winter but I believe there was a spigot on campsite I could have pulled from if needed. Pretty quiet site despite many of the sites being booked. Definitely would love to stay at the same site again!

My family and I had the BEST camping trip ever last week. The site we had was absolutely perfect, the playground was nice for our kids, and even just walking around the park was so beautiful and comfortable. Cant wait to go back in the spring!

We camped on site 109, right ON the water. Absolutely beautiful, secluded site.Were thankful that Horseshoe Bend is open for camping throughout the year; didnt miss the showers or bathrooms from Nov. 1 - March 31.

The area is absolutely gorgeous where we stayed. The gentleman who greeted us at the gate was so very nice and accommodating to us!

Beautiful in the fall when the lake is low! Our small children had fun exploring the exposed areas of the lake.

Overall I would rate this visit as very good! The only thing that needs to be worked on in my opinion is better communication(site specific info pertaining to water availability) to customers on your reservation interface. That would better set expectations for your customer and create less friction when they arrive and find the site is still winterized. 100% real feedback for you!!! Thank you.

Really nice area. Enjoyed our stay here, just happened to have a cold front move in so we didn't get to do as much as we wanted. Definitely will be back.
