This site met and exceeded our expectations! Its the most private site (with the exception of 134 immediately nextdoor - think driveway that comes to a T with 133 on the right and 134 on the left). Its downhill and you can only see 3 sites from it. Site 134 was vacant for our entire stay, so we were very secluded. The pictures dont show that you have a grassy area between the driveway and the lake that is about 30ft wide and as long as both sites. It was wonderful for our dogs. Theres also about 100ft between the site and the road.If you have two groups, I think booking 133 and 134 is probably the best setup you could ask for!Backing into 133 was a little more than a 90deg angle so that might be tough with bigger campers but for our popup it was totally fine.At the end of the 30ft grassy area there is a path to the beach / lake!! Not all sites have direct access so this is a gem for sure. He view from the fire pit was stunning.Bathroom was a very short walk and was cleaner than expected. Its a vault toilet but honestly didnt really smell. Granted, in the hot summer I bet it does.We cant wait to come back to this campground and we will be booking 133 for sure! If you like feeling more secluded this is the best site on this loop.

Had a great time other then a car pulling into site 135 and sitting for roughly 3 hours then they pulled behind our car parked at our camp site, and took pics of me and my wife.

This was a great campsite, right next to the lake without neighbors and close to the bathroom. The following evening I was at a different site in a much busier area and it was not nearly as nice. Also props for very level ground for a van, a nice picnic table and water.

This was our second visit to Horseshoe Bend Campground. The campground is quiet and well kept. The scenery is outstanding. If you like camping in a quiet peaceful environment, Horseshoe Bend is the place to be.

Horseshoe Bend has always been a great time and experience. The park was clean aside from the lake trash that had been washed up from the heavy rains. Bathrooms were clean and the workers friendly.
