We found the campground well maintained and clean. Since it was late in the season, there wasn't any crowds. It would have been nice to have water at the campsites. But, we understood why it was turned off. I would recommend the camping area, and may return again next year.

Site 42 was great, that’s our favorite area of the campground, we moved after 1 week to site 63 for Father’s Day weekend, and it was a mess. All the grit had been washed away from the pad leaving a muddy mess to try and navigate kids and people through without tracking into the camper. That was our only complaint about our 2 week stay.

We stayed a week at Horseshoe Bend, this is the second year at the same camp site. This is a great campground and the restroom/shower facilities are nice and mostly clean, I've found out that there some individuals thing they shouldn't pick up after themselves (nothing new). It would be nice if they could find the funds to add water to more camp sites.

The park is Great! The website is nearly impossible. Booking more than one night at a time is impossible. Every time I book, I have the same experience, and so does my wife. Together, we have over 90 years working with computers and dozens of types of software, and we still cant book two nights in a row. We now just rebook, night after night, and re-enter all of the qualifying data, despite using our password to sign in.
