This park is very natural, many trees, deer, birds, etc. A lovely place to set up camp for awhile. Sites are mostly spacious with well thought out placements in regards to other campers. Some have water,.. none have dump facilities at sites but there is a dump station when leaving the campgrounds. Many waterfront properties where you can pull your boat up to and most sites have some trees for shade...not all, but most. Will be back here again, for sure!

We absolutely love Horseshoe Bend. We stay here almost every weekend and wont stay anywhere else. Its wonderful being recognized when we check in and Mr. Don is just wonderful. If he doesnt see us at check in he will always stops and says hi to us when he is out driving around the grounds. The grounds are always clean and the area is fun but also peaceful. We highly recommend Horseshoe Bend.

Over all really good visit, firepit at our site really needed to be cleaned out and something needs to be done about the geese, they really make a mess at camp sites.

Hosts are the best...very nice and helpful. Love the number of sites on the water. The East side bathroom/shower building was clean and water, though I like it hotter, was comfortable. A hook outside the shower door would be helpful, hanging things inside the shower isn't the best answer for a bathrobe or towel you want to keep dry.
The park was clean, people good, location great...I enjoyed camping at Horseshoe Bend!

Beautiful area. Our site had a beautiful view of the water and easy walking access. Only rated a 3 star because the site didnt have enough level area to put out our awning and set up chairs close to the trailer. Also, there were large concrete blocks laying next to us that they were getting ready to do some work with(unsightly). I would definitely come back and just pick a different site number.

Beautiful park and lake. Many lakefront sites with good space between. Sites are large and parking is easy. 30/50 amp. No wifi but we had cell and our antenna pulled in several tv stations. The host was friendly and helpful. We did not use the restrooms. We did not have kids but the playground looked to be in poor shape. We stayed 3 nights in January in a 5th wheel. Garmin failed to find the campground but Google took us there.

Great site right on the lake. No shade due to lack of trees except for the Ramada covering the picnic table. 50 and 30 amp available.

We love Horseshoe Bend and go several times a year. Our only wish is that were more restrooms available throughout the campsite.
