Beautiful lake. We planned on 1 night and stayed 4. Everyone must go into Rogers to the Red Ryder Museum. So much information. We also drive to Pea Ridge and Wilsons Creek. (I have a National Passport book so this campground was perfect). Thanks to ACOE

One of our favorite campgrounds in NWA, we do wish that there was a notice that the water is shut off for winter months. Also no dumpsters durring winter months.

More rangers need to roll through and enforce the park rules, dogs loose, or barking all night. We watched people dumping trash such as mattresses, in the few dumpsters we do have for the weekend campers, I would suspect people that weren’t even camping at the park getting rid of their home trash . Fireworks being shot off in the park even through the sign at the front gate says no fireworks. We camp pretty regularly at horseshoe bend and love camping there, we respect the beauty of the park, but it’s turning into a trashy area.

We wanted to get the kids out for a quick weekend getaway in January and chose Horseshoe Bend. We camped in site 121 and loved it!
