Great time! Thankful that the Corps was able to get it open after the high water all spring.

Overall it’s a nice enough campground. I would like to give it 3 12 stars instead of just 3. My biggest complaint is the lack of restroom facilities. They need to at least have some additional vault toilets. This campground seems to be designed with the assumption that all people who come here have self-contained campers, with no need of campground restrooms. My other big complaint is the shower facility. It seems to have been designed by someone who has never used a campground shower. The shower stalls are fairly small, with no dry area to put your clothes while you shower. You have to leave all your stuff out in the public area. There is no private place to undress or to get dressed While drying off and getting dressed after your shower, you have to do it in the public area, where someone could walk in on you at any time. This is of course unless you don’t mind doing that in the tiny wet shower, and getting your fresh clothing all wet in the process. They tell you that you need to bring you on soap - no soap dispensers for washing hands. There are no electrical outlets to use for a blow dryer. There are no waste baskets The shower facility had hot water and was clean though, I’ll give it that. Also, in the handicap shower, there’s a bench that can fold down This bench was broken and one side was detached from the wall. It was deceptive in that you couldn’t tell it was broken. Someone could easily get injured. After walking a half mile plus to get to this shower, it was a huge disappointment.
