This is one of our favorite places to go. The place is clean with large, level spots. The camp hosts are lovely.

Have been camping there for years have always enjoyed it there more than anywhere but this year has been terrible been there 4 times this year grass some nearly knee high always has been the best looking park anywhere now the worst looking. I am a fly fisherman always get to fish some but not this year. We have two more reservations there this year and may not be back after that.

I was surprised at the reduced grass cutting that the USACE did in the campground. I agree not cutting the open field areas should remain uncut but the area down by the river, the areas around the camp sites and a larger area around the playground equipment should have been cut. I can only imagine how many of the young children as well as the adults out with their children felt having to address the chiggers from the high grass. Shame to those who man-dated the orders. On a better note, the newer of the shower facilities was open and repairs had been made to the damage done by humans using the facility. Thanks to the USACE Dam Quarry team for addressing the problem and getting the repairs done. Wish the condition of the grounds had been better.

This campground is always top notch. Just wish there was better cell reception and internet provided. It also is a negative that the corp of engineers schedule is almost always false. Although the campground has no control over that. We have AT&T and had one bar or none at our site.Norfork is a nice little town w a few good places to eat like Heidis Ugly Cakes and the Brewery. Our favorite place is Whispering Woods Grill.

Great location and we had one of the better sites. Butthey badly need to trim trees for clearance of our super C motor home as we drug limbs in quite a few areas. The single dump station, which was a very tight turning radius, was the worst area for low hanging branches. Rigs taller than about 9 feet will hit tree branches and we were 13-1 tall. On-site manager was well aware of this problem but is unable to resolve due to government procedures.

Wonderful campground. Very clean and well cared for. Nice spaces to park, with nice tables. Beautiful views of the river.

Restrooms were clean and grounds well maintained. The staff was very courteous and answered questions about local area. Fishing was good and Dry Run Creek is a must do if you have children under 16 years of age that want to fish. As well, bring quarters to buy fish food and feed the fish at the hatchery. Check out Two Rivers Fly Shop in Norfork for fishing supplies and great advice for fishing the local waters.

Excellent campground on the Norfork that I use frequently. The check-in staff are always a joy to interact with and helpful. Not sure why the pandemic procedures require you to book everything on-line this year when the State Park Campgrounds still have staff available to handle walk-up reservations, and the staff are there on-site as normal who could handle everything on-site.

We absolutely love this campground it is our very favorite we just wish they werent generating so much every time we come down its a 5 Hour Dr. and it makes fishing much harder
