The weather was rotten. cold. wet, windy. The campground was beautiful and the shower/bath house for Band C loop looked new and clean. There was no one at the office when we got there a little after 4 ( I can't blame them for not hanging out and waiting to see if we were going to show up) There was not a campground map posted nor was there a box of folded maps that you often see at campgrounds. This was a problem for me because I am a man and I refuse to ask for directions except as a last resort. The internet map on my phone was just a crude approximation and that added to my confusion. Also signage was very minimal...not normally a problem except for the odd 4 way intersection which an hour later we figured out led to the B loop. I think most 1st time visitors would have a similar problem but once I figured it out it was simple. Most intelligent people will find the place to be lovely, but stubborn old coots like me may have a hard time.

We loved our stay at the park! It was clean and well maintained. We had beautiful views from our site of Bull Shoals Lake and the dam. The walk to the swimming beach and boat launch was just minutes away. I would recommend this peaceful location to anyone.

It was a great park, clean and well maintained. The bath house is clean and usable. Loved the stay!

Everything was great except for the water being turned off before we got there. It would have been nice to know before we reserved the site.

Beautiful, quiet park. Space was paved with a covered picnic table area. Took a few tries backing 5th wheel into space between trees at entrance to pad, but once in, we had plenty of room. We will stay again.

Not a bad camp site in the park. There is plenty of space between sites and our site (maybe all sites) was perfectly level. The cover over the table was a nice touch. The bathrooms and shower were home quality and clean. Finally, the staff was very helpful and friendly. Notice: the hiking trail is good for exercise and nature viewing. But don't expect a great view at the turn around point.

I shouldnt say anything good cause its getting harder to get a space. Its the best park that Ive been to. The only way it could be better is if they had sewer and cable hookups.

Wonderful lake and well maintained campsite. Would stay again! Be sure and see Bull Shoals Dam Visitor Center. Pleasant surprise!

Mens restroom did not work the first 2 days there so was an issue since we had to get up at 0500 to be in Mountain Home by 0630. Fortunately it was resolved. Restroom was further than we thought from the map on the website

Awesome park and great park attendants nice 50amp sites. Only downfall is no sewer hook ups.
