Lakeview Park Campground in Baxter County is located 2 hrs 10 min southeast of Springfield, MO with an elevation of 742 feet. There are a total of 72 campsites including 70 boat sites. The campground is open all year. Sites can accommodate RVs between 22 and 42 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 70 sites have electric and water hookups. 1 site has electric hookups. Fees range from $21.00 to $54.00. Some amenities include shower, playground, swimming, marina. Activities include boating, fishing, hiking trails, floating sports.

We have been camping at Lakeview Park for 35 years and still find it to be the best park we have ever stayed at. The layout of the sites and all the shade trees can't be beat. Most camp grounds have sites right on top of each other and hardly any shade. Lakeview is simply a great place to camp.

Bathrooms were fairly clean. Shower head all drooped and need to be held just to keep the water on you. Water temps were not very hot.

They bathroom in the "B" campground was nice, needed more soap. It looks like the location of the bathroom on the map was incorrect. We thought were going to be closer. Overall it was a great experience. We'll definitely go back.

Was there for 2 weeks, off season in March. Was safe, quiet, neighbors friendly, the early trees and flowers pretty, and exploring locally and regionally easy. Nice amenities and sites.

The staff was kind and easy to talk to, I was given a complimentary bundle of wood, the bathrooms were clean and warm (which was great to have in November!), and the site was gorgeous. There was also plenty of wood to collect around the area.
