I enjoyed my visit to the campground. It was quiet, peaceful for the most part. Lot's of barking dogs. Restrooms were clean, but ran out of toilet paper for the last couple of days I was there. But I carry my own. Having access to fresh water is nice. I'll visit again soon.

Very nice BLM campground with incredible views. We had our side by side with us and were able to directly access 100s of miles of trails from Cedar Pocket Road.

Very clean campground and restrooms. Disappointed that the tent pad had pretty large divots in the middle of the pad, pretty much rendering the pad unusable. Was also a bit surprised to hear traffic noise from the highway, as it seemed that the campground was a bit further off the main highway (it wasnt). Given that my reservation was during a shoulder season, it surprised me that the campground emptied out completely during the day, and as a solo camper, I decided to forfeit my reservation for the second night, as it would have been creepy to be alone in the campground. Would like to try this campground again, maybe during a slightly busier time of year.

This is a cash free campground, QR codes to pay. But there is no cell service. WTF? Also flush toilets but no water for campers. WTF? Views were great.

We prefer staying at this campground when visiting St. George area. The recent renovations to the grounds and campsites were a great improvement.

We really enjoyed our stay here, perhaps due to perfect weather and a great campsite. This large campground is signed from the highway and has easy on/off access in both directions. Some highway noise, more so in the lower loop. Most campers stayed just one night.

There are mostly FCFS campsites, however the better sites with views and ramadas had yellow markers saying rec.gov only. The cell service is little to none here. We ended up driving back towards Littlefield to get service so that we could pay for our site online for 2 nights (and the $8 reservation fee!). We really wanted this site, obviously! We are pretty sure people just paid at the kiosk, but someone could have already reserved that site without them knowing it. That would have been awkward.

The campground is paved and tiered. Most sites, but no all, had tables, fire pits and an area for tents. Some sites had cement pads with tables covered with ramadas. Most back in sites were short, some with no room for a tent or table. All the pull outs were large and can accommodate large rigs. Marked handicapped sites were totally paved and located near the restrooms.

Campsites had little to no litter, restrooms with flush toilets were clean and well supplied, all without a camphost on duty. There was a large dumpster in both loops. We noticed a water spigot up at the vacant camphost spot near site 53?

There are trails down to the river and a trail connecting the upper and lower loops. We took a trail leaving from the campground near site 47. This lead us down to the river, under the highway and over to the access road to Cedar Pocket Pass, thankfully it was marked here and there with cairns.

There were a lot of day users who came in and parked at campsites to access the river.

Site#25 was very nice. We had a covered picnic table. There are no hookups. Must be self contained. Views upon views. The campground was quiet and not too busy the 3 days we stayed in early March 2023. The weather was cool. No cell phone service thru AT&T. It was a perfect get away. St. George and Hurricane are within 20 miles. Lots to see in the area. Snow Canyon was beautiful.
