I was in site #45. Large site and easy pull thru. This is a clean and well kept CG. Some sites are reservable for an extra fee. Several nice hikes from the CG. Was just a one night stop over so I only did one short 2 mile hike.

This location is very scenic, reasonably priced and has many hiking and river activities nearby. But it has a few drawbacks. In the upper loop I found no usable cell service (Verizon) but did find slow service in the lower loop, where I moved to. Second, after I found the toilet in the mens room plugged up, and decided I should report it, I found the host in the upper loop barricaded behind a tall chain link fence with warning signs about dogs. Indeed, as I walked past 2 large dogs came charging, barking and lunging at the fence. So I left reporting nothing. How can this be your public facing representative? I previously reported my experience but have heard no response.

Beautiful campground right on the river. Glassed desert bighorns in the surrounding mountains. Quick access to exploring St. George

We were at the campground for a week. Weather was beautiful. Needed blankets at night but it was February. If it wasn't a 500 mile drive, we'd go more often. It would be nice to have a dump station but for us and anyone used to dry camping on BLM land, that's not an issue. We usually wait until we're at an RV Park and dump when we get there. Otherwise we find a facility that has a dump station. Some of the site are challenging for larger RVs since it's difficult to get them level. We found one site that was almost perfect and the view was outstanding.

Beautiful country! Stayed in the lower campground. Highway traffic did not bother us at all and we had very good Verizon phone service! Bathrooms were clean and warm. Thank you for providing a very nice, quiet, safe camping area!

This is an easy access campground from I-15 The scenery is nice with some good hiking trails out of the campground. Flush toilets & running water in the bath room. Easy drive in or backin sites. I rated the CG 3 stars due to the lack of a dump station. Why would a CG have sewer & water but no dump station?!? We found a free dump station at a Maverick station in St George.

Great camp area. The only thing that would have made it better is to have water available to fill up a jug.

Great spot to stop for the night en route to San Diego. The reason its a 4 is because the freeway noise and light is kinda annoying.

Went for a couple hours and had lunch. Hiked along the river and tried fly fishing but no luck. Great campgrounds, restrooms sinks were not working however. Would recommend!

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
