I didn't find many reviews that discussed this site from the perspective of trailer use. We have a 25-foot non-pull-out trailer, and there is a convenient half-moon of pavement off the main road for pulling the trailer in. The trailer and car will be positioned at a downward angle from the pavement to the sandy area, but the ground is perfectly solid. There's also a slight forward-to-rear angle, but we didn't notice it while inside the trailer.Although there are no hookups or dump stations, the bathrooms are very close, and drinkable water is available to fill up for use at your site. The campground hosts are super nice and very helpful. This place is a beautiful spot to stay. Generators are allowed during certain hours, but we tried to avoid using them to avoid disturbing the tent sites around us.You can set up a small 4-man tent at the site, but anything larger might be difficult due to the significant slope. I hope this review helps future campers!

Spent a day at the park which seemed adequate. Overall a great experience.

We had a fantastic stay at our site! The camp host was so friendly and helpful, available the whole time. Even though the campground was sold out it felt private and respectful. Amazing night skies, beautiful weather at night even during the end of July. We traveled with two adults and four kids and all of us loved it!

We stayed at site 49 which has BIG rocks in the back and it's on a slight hill, so the only place we could put the tent was right by the road. The traffic in the loop area was busy, there was always a car driving around or someone turning on the headlights of their car. All the light pollution really put a damper on trying to see all the stars at night.

Would have been 5 of 5, but we gave it 4 stars only because we were tent camping and any flat surface for a small tent, or any tent is limited. The cul-de-sac seems to be the best spot for camping as it seems quieter and a bit more private unless light pollution, because youre not immediately across the road from another campsite. Its a beautiful beautiful location and well worth it if you can get in. We were able to get a very last minute reservation (w/in a wk from arrival; utilized cancellation notifications). Camping in October had beautiful days and chilly nights (if youre not used to it - low 40s). Campsite has fire pit with attached grill, but you might wanna bring something to put on it if grilling, (we just hauled in our own folded piece of foil). Picnic table is also on site. The campsite, bordering one side, has trees and provides a bit more privacy, and the opposite and campsite seemed a bit further away, which allowed for more privacy as well. Again, not horrible, but not the best flat area; for a small tent and camping chairs around the fire pit.

Beautiful scenery around this campground. Very helpful Camp Hosts. Broken Arch trail departs/returns right to campground. Tent campers be prepared for soft sand. Tent pegs do almost nothing. And my site had zero shade. Devild Garden trailhead .3 miles away!

Restroom could have been a bit cleaner. Wished there was a better place to put a tent on this tent only camp site.

Devils garden is a beautiful part of the park worth the drive all the way to the back section of the park.

The most scenic campground I've ever been to. Most camp sites are somewhat private compared to most. Wish it had power to eliminate generator noise, but even that isn't too bad. Very little enforcement of any rules this year though. We observed multiple trailers using sites, 20 people in one site, 5 tents spread in the desert on one site, and hundreds of people turing the campground for the view even though a sign at the start explicitly states campground tenants only. We also observed a camp ranger car turn on his police lights and demand ID from the campers by us. The infraction: hanging a cloths line from a true.

great park!

Site 49 was awful. It’s supposed to be for RVs but our 27 foot class C couldn’t fit. Not only that but there’s a drop off from the pavement to gravel and the whole thing slopes uphill. Definitely not a place for anything bigger than a van!
