#17 is a poor location for tent campers, because it is VERY FAR from the restrooms. Although restrooms were clean, there was no soap or hand dryer. At least provide some soap (and not just hand sanitizer)! This site also had no shade, and it was hot in early June. I recommend the end of the loop to be close to the hiking trails. On another note, the maintenance worker we met was hilarious, and we had a good chat with him.

Beautiful campground nestled in the boulders and rocks of Arches. No shade so hot in the summer. Right next to Devils Garden hike to Landscape Arch. Overall great campground.

A spectacular place to camp. We had a back-in site with more than enough room to unhitch my full size truck and a 21 foot travel trailer. Many spots to setup a tent in our site also. This is a very difficult place to make a reservation so jump on the chance when you get availability.

We backed to open space and a wonderful view of canyons and the La Sal mountains.

While it can get hot in nearby Moab, Devils Garden is at 5200+ feet so it cools off nicely at night. So much to do in the area with other National and State Parks nearby. We attended several Ranger events in the evening and they were very informative.

Bathrooms and water were nearby but no RV hookups of any kind.

The campground was absolutely beautiful and wonderfully peaceful. We loved our site, especially its close proximity to the amphitheater and expansive views. The Ranger programs were fantastic, and one of the highlights of our stay was exploring the area around the amphitheater and watching the sunset from the surrounding rocks.The Visitor Center was incredibly informative and helped us plan our days with ease. The Fiery Furnace trail was our absolute favorite hike. It was challenging, fun, and unforgettable. The kids also loved Sand Dune Arch.The trails from the campground were so fun to explore, and the rock formations accessible right from our campsite added to the experience. Both sunrises and sunsets were truly breathtaking and made our stay unforgettable.Thank you for a memorable visit!

Beautiful campground in the heart of an extremely beautiful national park. Took 1 star off for a couple small issues. 1st being sinage for the campground. There is a sign at the campground but there is NO arrow pointing you to turn right. I went around the loop again before I realized the campground was not up ahead but to the right. Why is there not an arrow on the sign showing the campground is to the right. Other small issue is no dump station for rvs. Everything else was fantastic. Great ampitheater and Ranger led programs. Clean restrooms.Beautiful setting.

Great campground and campsite (#21). RV campers should be advised that there is NO WATER to fill your unit, you must get water in Moab before driving up to campground. Otherwise, wonderful.

My kids enjoyed exploring the canyon and climbing the rocks behind our campsite. We loved the ranger program that taught us about how arches formed. Campsite was well kept and tidy. I wish there was more shade!

My husband and I had a great experience at Devils Garden Campground, we would stay there again. Beautiful setting, close to hikes, amazing stargazing at night and close to Ranger talks at night!

Incredibly beautiful location. Campsites are reasonably well separated from each other. Bathroom facilities are very well maintained and clean. Pitching our family-size six-person tent was a small challenge. Except for one flat spot intended for tents, a raised area with the edges framed up, there were no suitable places due to slope, terrain and ant colonies, and the preordained spot was slightly smaller than the footprint of the tent. After camping at Capital Reef (Fruita) and Canyonlands (The Needles), this was my least favorite camp site, but all three were fantastic and exceeded my expectations.

Very nice park and campground. Site #38 had a slope in front but placed my 16 Teton Sierra tent in the back of the site with lots of privacy. Loved the 7:30pm Ranger Talks at the Amphitheater!

We had site 18 for a two-night stay. It was clean and in good condition upon arrival. The paved pad is a bit short, but could fit our 17' camper and tow vehicle side by side. Beautiful view. Restrooms were clean and in good condition. Camp host was friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

I reserved my campsite 6 months in advance and was told on reservation that my equipment was acceptable and allowed (18 foot trailer) was fine.Then a week before I was told the site was tent only. I could not reach anyone to see if it was okay to bring approved trailer. We shortened our stay and used campsite for day use. Beautiful place to camp. Lack of response and communication is unacceptable. I tried for years to get a campground here. It was a disappointment not to be able to camp. I blame the cuts in the NPS. But such a change needs to be better communicated and alternative found when it is so difficult to reserve a camp spot. Lack of communication also meant the campground could not be opened up for someone else.

Absolutely gorgeous campground as you are surrounded by the Arches National Park. Site was level, clear of debris, very well maintained and kept in the natural area. Bathroom was spotless, trash dumpsters kept cleaned out, ranger talk, perfection and my favorite campground and experience I've ever had. It is very difficult to get a campsite but, we managed to grab a cancellation at the right time.

Camping at Devils Garden was hands-down one of the best parts of our trip. The views are unrealmassive red rocks all around, and youre literally camping inside Arches National Park. Its quiet, peaceful, and you can walk straight to some of the best trails like Landscape Arch. No showers, but the restrooms were clean and the vibe totally made up for it. Sunset and stargazing here? Just wow.
@Danak5362638 · Camped on May 12, 2025 at Campsite #29
Awesome campsite, beautiful views from the campground alone with easy access to Devils Garden trailhead. Worth the 6 month wait to make reservationin advance. Bathrooms were always clean. Campground has no showers, but city of Moab, 10 min drive from Arches Visitor Center has many options of public showers.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
