So glad to get a campsite at the popular Devils Garden campground for a second trip to Arches. Moab is conveniently right outside of the park, but it's better to escape civilization, and it's still a long shuttle in and out of the park. There are lots of nearby trails and sites. Campsites are nice and the facilities were very clean. No noticeable cell service, except for at Delicate Arch. Showered in Moab at the Aquatic Center. It was cheap ($7, $6 for seniors), easy and no time limits, which was not the case anywhere else during a trip through Southeastern Utah and Capitol Reef... highly recommend.

Site 51 was fabulous, quiet, great dark night sky. On my way out, I walked up to the amphitheater and discovered a short, easy trail to the back side of Skyline Arch.

it is very frustrating to spend days on end checking for availability and to arrive at the campground, after securing a spot only to see sooooo many empty spots for several days in a row and yet have them listed as reserved. This has been our experience at Devils campground and the other 4 national parks in Utah, the REC.gov system is very flawed and needs to be improved, so that more people can use the campgrounds and not have them sit empty while your website shows them as "reserved" and prevents people that actually come to the campgrounds from enjoying them.

Wood at this campground can only be purchased by using the QR code at the host site. However, there is little to no cell services in the campground, therefore most campers cannot purchase wood. However, what we were later told is that campers can purchase wood at the Visitor Center (right as you enter the park - 17 miles from the campground). They will provide a voucher form for wood in the campground. Good to know for next time. Incredible views from most or all campsite. Love this campground.
Site next to ours had 17 people for two nights (11 children and 6 adults) - not a group site. On the first night, the children were allowed to scream as loud and as long as they chose (they were probably having a screaming contest). We did not go over and talk with these folks. We just put in our earplugs which allowed us to finally get to sleep just before midnight. We spoke with the host the next day about this and he said he wished we had involved him in this situation. The next night, it looked like we'd be seeing a repeat, but at 9:30 pm the host went to their site and talked with them. The folks in the site immediately quieted the children down, and we were able to sleep, Thank you host!
Also, we were right across from the bathroom. There was much activity all night long in front of the bathroom, so we'll choose another site when we return.

I had three nights at this super camp. The location is at the end of the park, very quiet, very clean, every location is designed for comfort, the trail entrance is also nearby, the toilets are very clean, it should be ranked among the top few national parks I have been to. I will miss this super national park giving it five stars.

This was the campground I had been excited to visit! I heard reservations fill quicky so I took the only spot available months before my trip and scheduled the rest of my vacation around those two nights in Devil's Garden. The scenery is absolutely amazing. I'm not sure a campground could have any better! The restrooms were clean and the sites well-spaced. Plenty of hiking to do right from the campground which makes it 4-stars on that alone. There is ZERO shade, however, to keep it from being perfect. Make sure you bring a canopy or something. Maybe I'm just used to camping in the Midwest so might not be an issue for everyone?

Nice campground, very quiet and the hosts were good. One frustration about getting into the park. it was closed due to too many people so we couldn't check in at noon like we wanted. It was 2pm before we got to the campground. If you have a campground reservation you should be able to get in the park because we paid for it. Please consider changing the rule.

The description of site 39 is grossly inaccurate. It claims to be a 30-foot pull-through. In reality, it is a 15 foot pull out. Our small 12-foot trailer and truck could not fit in the space. It is on a curve in the road, so it's only about 4 feet wide. Fine for tents or small vans, but RVs and trailers should look for a different site. The rangers here were great and as helpful as they could be. Overall, this is a good campground but beware of inaccurately described sites.

Kids loved the rocky terrain. Facilities were simple but well maintained. Be aware of the wind - difficult to stake tent in sand - come prepared ☺️

We were in a site that looked like a pull through on the website but ended up being just a wider place on the road. It felt very vulnerable with a slide out.

Beautiful campground and very special experience. A couple very nice arch laden trails right from campsite. About 30 minutes from park entrance (we found it easiest to just plan to stay in the park during the day). Seems like every site has their own views or special rocks.
