Great site (#30) with lots of space and more private than many of the other sites. A couple small trees provide a little bit of shade but much better than some of the other sites. Lots of space and rocks for kids to explore right behind the campsite. Restrooms are close enough but not too close. Be prepared for lots of sand! We had a really great time.

The campsite was peaceful and stunning. The location was excellent for short hikes right from our campground or the longer ones into Devils Garden. The kids had so much fun climbing on the rocks right in our campsite. I'll be trying to get back to that campground as soon as possible.

We liked that there was a lot of close by hiking. We liked being surrounded by the red rock in the midst of such natural beauty. The campsites were spread out enough that there was a sense of privacy. The bathrooms were clean. We would definitely return. We hope that the parks are preserved to serve the public going forward.

Beautiful setting and near some good hiking trails. Bathrooms were clean, drinking water available (filling bottles, not hooking up to RV), and camp rangers were friendly and helpful, letting us know the nearest free RV dump and water fill was the Maverick at the south end of Moab.

Great views from the campsites. Couple of short trails from the campground give you a chance to see at least 3-4 arches (and even more from the day-use area).

We stayed at campsite 30 in a motorhome and had a great time. The kids had a great time playing in the sand-there will be sand in all your things. Plenty of trails walking distance and flush toilets. They were out of order the morning we left so I dont know if that happens often. I forgot to bring my trash in and a giant crow got it-I was embarrassed to get a note from the camp host!

Epic campground. There isnt a single bad site, though the back-in ones seem better than the side-of-the-road pull-thrus because theyre set back further. Mark was a great and helpful camp host!Sites south of the amphitheater will have very little to no reception (like site 30), but near the amphitheater you can get 2 bars (Verizon or T-Mobile). You can also find some bars if you climb to the top of some of the rock fins. I am a full-timer was able to get on some video calls for work up behind site 7 (and neighboring sites), though with an advanced hotspot.

Nice campsite with a level pad for our van. There was a fire ban so I can't comment on the fire box. The best part of this site is the nearness to several arches. Horizon's Arch is about a 2 minute walk behind this site and you can get right up in it. Just stay on the trail and don't walk across the sand. This kills organisms that are necessary for the desert environment. The bathrooms are flush and not very far away. Clean water at the bathrooms and trash bins. Very nice ranger talk and camp hosts. Saw several deer including a fawn still with spots. Great spot to be if you want sunrise pictures.

A good campground experience. However, even at that altitude it gets very hot during late Spring to early Fall, with only a little shade. There is running water (tastes good) and flush toilets, and a utility sink for rinsing/washing dishes (for those not towing a full trailer).

This campground is absolutely amazing. Its private, in close proximity to the busiest trailhead (Devils Garden) visually stunning. In the daytime, you get incredible rock formations and arches that can be seen from certain campsites. At night, you get a desert sky with minimal light pollution, and the stars light up. Be prepared to stay up late, or set a 2 am alarm to ensure you dont miss the night sky!
