Our site was at the top of a hill and it was very windy. It did have a great view. We stayed for six nights and it was a great base for exploring the park.

One of our favorite hikes leaves from this CG, the Devils garden. GC Host Ed was welcoming and friendly; facilities were fine - even a sink for dishwashing!

Nice campground! Out of this world views! Our site had views of the La Sal mountains. Close to a bathroom with plumbing that was clean and garbages nearby too. Walking distance to devils garden trails. Most of our site was sloped so we didnt have many options for setting up a tent. Unloading and loading was exhausting going up and down the hill to our car. No shade at all so bring a canopy! Never saw any wildlife while there.

Best campground in a NP so far for us. Great spot for stargazing!

Driveway for site 20 is short, but flat. Beautiful views are worth it. Bathrooms were clean and well-spaced throughout the campground.

The campground is well placed in the park so we were able to just walk to a few great hikes. The restrooms are nice and clean and there is potable water available. Our site had great views from the top of the hill.

Good weather and awesome scenery made this a memorable visit. Camp hosts were friendly and efficient and only one generator was running near us so it was all we could have hoped for. Thank you!

Site had an excellent view and loved the recessed layout for privacy. Really quiet and love staying here. Wouldn't change a thing.

Superb location, and a wonderful experience to stay the night within the landscape of the Devil's Garden. Early morning walks to the arches nearby recommended. Very well run campground and great staff, with good basic amenities (but who needs anything more when you are in such a stunning place). The way that each site has a table and private area set away from the road (and not overlooked by other sites) is excellent, and it did not feel at all crowded, despite being full. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We had the chance to have a very nice site, where we could see both the arches and the Sal Mountain! We did some hikes and just enjoyed the landscape for many hours! I wish we could stay longer, notably to see the moon coming.

Site 20 rocks!
Take note, there is very little to no shade at this site. Recommend you bring some type of canopy during the hot summer months.
If you climb up the rocks at the back of site 20 (which I highly recommend), you'll be rewarded with views of a cool little canyon running to the east and Skyline Arch to the west.
We also setup our telescope at the site and the views of the horizon were great in most all directions. If Venus is the evening star when you're there, you might miss it setting unless you come up out of the campsite just a little where you park your vehicle.
Again, bring shade if you can! You can't hang anything on the trees. This site has a nice juniper right in the middle but it's not big enough to cast much of a shadow when you need it, and you also can't string up a line from it for a tarp either. If the open sky and the views from the rocks are important to you, site 20 will not disappoint. If natural shade is what you need, it's probably best to hunt down another site
