We had a great time. I didnt think we were going to find a site as I was trying to book two weeks out during a busy time. The campground was already full. But the recreation.gov app alerted me when a site was available and I was able to quickly reserve it for the date I needed. I usually dislike tent camping among RVs but this campground is fantastic. And everyone was quiet after dark. I couldnt hear one generator. And restrooms were immaculately clean.

May be possibly my favorite camp ground of any National Park. The views are amazing, heck I even had cell signal with T-Mobile. Most sights are pretty spacious compared to other parks plus really neat rock formations for the kids to climb on providing limitless entertainment.

The generator policy is ridiculius. They ban generators during the day when you need them to run AC, and allow them in the mornings and evenings. I would strongly consider staying elsewhere if you have pets, as 70% of RVers do. This would be easily fixed if they simply implemented the same generator policy as every other campground on earth.

My family has camped at many national park campgrounds over this years. This was the most unique and beautiful of the bunch. We loved climbing on the rocks and exploring the rugged setting. I have never seen a sunrise quite like the ones I saw while camping here. Thanks to its location at the end of the park road, we were able to hike the Devil's Garden Trail at 6 a.m. and had the trail almost entirely to ourselves for the first hour.

We did have one incident with loud neighbors in the campground at night, but the campground host was quick to respond to the disruption and got them to be quiet.

We made a campground reservation months in advance and were very happy with our campsite. We timed our arrival for mid-afternoon and were able to drive right in without a long waiting line at the gate. The campground location is very beautiful and, in a sense, remote. The only negative aspect to this campground is that there is no enforcement of the generator regulations regarding noise, and the hours in the evening are very long (4-8) and occur during dinner and sunset. We had 4 out of 6 nights where we were surrounded by Airstream campers that had two generators hooked together. It echoed off the rocks something awful, and we heard many complaints from other campers about how the noise destroyed the sunset watching. The hosts agreed it was loud, but apparently it is up to the Park personnel to monitor the generator noise. This is becoming a problem in many National Parks-- what is the point of a regulation if it is not enforced. So sad in such a beautiful setting..

The site was excellent with beautiful views and rocks to climb. However, recreation.gov should create a new amenity category to list with its campsites; that of Water Access for RVs. We saw that drinking water was available at the campground so we arrived with minimal amounts in our tanks. The campground only had water available for jugs with no access to fill RV tanks. This information would have been helpful in our planning, especially with temps reaching 100 degrees.

We were there on a very hot day (of course!) in July and had a wonderful time. The camp hosts were super friendly and answered our questions, and there was an informative and pleasant presentation at the amphitheater in the evening just after sundown for people of all ages... with bats flying around! We had a great time. The one downside was that the main generator hours were only 4pm-8pm, but there's probably a good reason for that. My family loved camping within this national park--toward evening it really felt like there were very few people in a very wonderful place.

Beautiful campground with decent space between most sites and a great location within the park.

Stunning, clean, and kid friendly. Climbing, rock hopping, sliding....expect dirty, happy kids with shredded pants. Clean bathrooms with flush toilets. Easy walk to Devil's Garden hiking area. Amazing views.
