We had not even left yet before our kids started asking to come back here again. The hosts were friendly and helpful, even bringing us Junior Ranger books for the kids because we had arrived late the night before after the visitor center was closed.

Beautiful campground. Facilities were clean and warm (which was nice with the sub-freezing temperatures we stayed during). Camp host personally came by to apologize for a visitor who had turned on their generator during the night which had woken us up and was much appreciated. Walking distance to two great hikes in the park as well. Be ready for a 30 min drive to exit the park from the campsite

The campground itself was OK. The bathroom and dishwashing area was adequate.
However, the sky was amazing. Very few people had their lights on, which made sunsets and sunrises spectacular. Even more amazing were the stars! Being from the city, I never see so many. I even saw a shooting star.

Great campground with beautiful views. The campground was very clean, there was potable water, full bathrooms, and even a dishwashing station. My only change would be more pull in campsites instead of campsites where you park on the road and haul your supplies down into the actual campsite. This was mostly an issue due to the fact we had a rooftop tent so we were sleeping 3 feet from where cars were driving in and out.

Awesome campsite with incredible views, clean bathrooms, and a good amount of privacy. The drive to the campsite is scenic and you get to see some landmarks, and it is close to the Devil's Garden Trail which is a must-do hike.

Very enjoyable stay, though it would be helpful at the time reservations are made to know if the particular site is amenable to a trailer plus vehicle or not. Our first night we JUST fit in the alloted space, as it was really a space meant for 1 vehicle and a tent on the site. Our neighbors had 2 cars taking up a bit more space than maybe they should have. It would have been close if the other neighboring space had been occupied. It is also disappointing that while the campground was noted as "full" each of the 3 nights we stayed, there were 4-6 empty sites.....I wish that folks who make reservations either cancelled if they aren't coming, or are motivated to cancel by sustaining a monetary penalty for not showing up. This place is beautiful and quite special!

Great campground wish there were showers. Campers should not have to wait on line to get into the park.

This views from this campsite were just absolutely incredible! We loved staying here and appreciated that we were in close proximity to the bathrooms and dumpsters, but were never bothered by any noise. I would definitely return here in the future!

Absolutely stunning site, rocks for my kids to climb, nice flat surface. Hiking trails not far away, beautiful area to watch the sunrise. Only drawback is the unpredictability of the weather. We had lots of wind, so lots of sand blowing everywhere. We will be going back!

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
