One of the prettiest NForest campgrounds in Colorado and great location near national park. My only concern is the nightly visit by the bear breaking into cars. Very concerned someone is going to get hurt let alone all the property damage.

Nice clean campground close to Denver.

Great host at Olive Ridge. The campground has some sites that are fairly level, but several an rv would be unable to use. Wish the Rec.gov site gave better descriptions.

Nice, quiet campsite to stay for us one night in between Rocky Mountain National Park and Grays/Torreys Peaks. The toilet is composting but was generally in good shape for us.

Great campground. Close to RMNP. Site were perfect for our needs and the camp host was helpful. Vault toilets were super clean.

Nice campground. Plenty of tall trees make for plenty of shade.

The campground had some really nice sites but ours was right in the middle and really had no privacy. I had hoped for a cozy weekend away with my family but it didn't end up having that feel. There is lots of amazing hiking nearby but none that I'm aware of straight from the campsite which is kind of a bummer. I always love when I don't have to drive anywhere for the weekend. It is a gorgeous area though and it's always nice to be in the mountains for the weekend.

Camp Hosts are great and the campsite was clean and well maintained. The only downside is the lack of any connections (water or electric), so you have to bring all your water with you. Worth camping here, and it's only a 20-25 minute drive to Estes Park should you really need something.
