A well taken care of campground! Camp hosts were great, spaces are spread out, and we saw elk and moose on the edge of the campground. Easy 25min drive to RMNP. Would highly recommend.

I really enjoyed this campground! The location was lovely, the camp hosts kept everything clean, and each of the sites was well appointed with tent pad, picnic table, bear box, fire pit and grill. Sites were spread out, and there was plenty of shade from the trees. I can't wait to go back!

The campgrounds were nicely maintained and the camping spots had some decent distance between them. We really appreciated the bear food lockers at each camping spot which made storing our food easy.

Campsites were decently spread, but neighbors were very noisy late into the night. Wood was well-picked over and wet; you may need to buy something from the camp host. Plan to bring a camp stove or not rely on a fire if you want to cook.

Loved our campsite! Well spaced out campsites with very manicured spaces. Easy to get to from Denver. The host was very friendly. Had a great time!

Very clean and well taken care of campground. Hosts were very nice. We loved all the mature trees where you could hang hammocks and all the big boulders. 25 minutes to Estes park & to Lyons. There is no cell service once you go through Lyons and only one tiny gas station/store so make sure you stop for everything you need beforehand.

Beautiful Campground and very friendly Camphost!

I love this campground. Very, very clean. Well kept grounds. Newer picnic tables of high quality. Friendly host. Clean restrooms. Lots of bear bins and locked trash bins. Great access to the highway and Estes Park. Quiet and peaceful.

Perfect National Forest Campground. Sits were very spaciousness and far between. Lots of trees but easy to find Starlink views of the sky. Camp host was very congenial and kept a vigilant oversight of the camp. Week leading up to Labor Day weekend was less than 50 percent full. Easy access to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain. Spring water fill point two miles south. Bring containers to fill.

Simple but nice located campground. No facilities except a compost toilet.

Olive Ridge is at a nice location and the campsites have plenty of room. The vault toilets were fine but it would be great if they would build a shower house. The camp host camp around at 11:00 checking license plates and woke us up. I think that is a little late and could have gone bad.

great spot short drive from longs peak tralhead

The site was beautiful and peaceful. Camp hosts Kirt and Nick went above and beyond and the place was clean and well maintained. The only improvement I would suggest is to change the description of the double campsite #39 to say that 2 trailers with slides will NOT fit in the space!!!
@FernandaS6AAD3 · Camped on Jul 14, 2024 at Campsite #30
The campsite has no water and bathrooms need cleaning. The site is nosier because it is very close to highway.

Stayed at Pika 44 and although the site was nice and spread out, you had a clear view of your neighbors to all sides. The site was shaded and trees were around, just not enough to block the view so privacy wise, this won't be the spot for you. Two bathrooms were close and clean but STUNK. They needed a cleaning tablet or whatever they put in there to help. It was hard to just pee because of the overwhelming smell. Host came by and was nice. Left us alone after that. Everyone seemed to abide by the quiet hours.

Excellent campground. Water nearby. Close to RMNP and Brainard Lake area. Camp host helpful and friendly.

Site 50 was not camper friendly. Thankfully we were tent camping, but hauling our gear up the cliff was not ideal.

Camp host was great to work with. Really kept the campground clean.

This campground has good sites for tents as well as RVs. Everything is well maintained, the pit toilets are kept clean. Be aware, there is no water available in the campground (but that may change in the next several years). There is free spring water in nearby Allenspark. No cellular service at all in the campground. This campground is close to Wild Basin. Plus there are a few hiking trails from Allenspark which connect up with Wild Basin trails.

We had a great time in spot 47. It is near the back and there were plenty of rocks and forests for my 7 and 11 year old girls to explore. Bathrooms were kept clean by host and it was quiet throughout. Great experience

Olive Ridge is one of our favorites. Close to Denver with great, quiet sites and easy access to Estes Park, RMNP, and Wild Basin.

A simple campsight but cute and gets the job done! Loved the giant boulders at every site.

There's something wrong with the reservation system. This is the 2nd year in a row the same thing has happened. As soon as reservations are open, you can book the weekdays BUT NOT FRI-SUN - when reservations open up they ALL say "reserved" (this is for ALL RESERVABLE SITES).And they remain reserved up until a week before the date, even though nobody would be able to reserve them. I know this because I checked EVERY DAY leading up to our trip and FRI-SAT-SUN remained blocked for ALL RESERVABLE SITES. In our case we book 6/17-6/20 the day reservations opened. Every single reservable site had Fri-Sun blocked up until the week of - in our case on the 17th the Fri-Sun 21-23 opened up as reservable. This happened the same last year (2023) as well.Our stay was quite pleasant though and the camp host was wonderful!

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
