What can I say, a bear came into the campground messed up the garbage can and hang out next to our tents. The best campground ever and the most beautiful experience Ive ever had haha

We loved our stay at Olive Ridge. The campground is well laid out, with lots of privacy and quiet. The location was perfect for accessing Rocky Mtn National Park, Brainard Recreation Area, and Allenspark. Our host Kurt gave us great recommendations for local hikes. We will definitely visit again!

Beautiful campsite. This year, Kurt, the campground host was absolutely the best. Clean, spacious, could not say enough.

We've been camping at Olive Ridge for several years. We love it because it's beautiful...woodsy and well-kept. Camp sites are spaced a good distance apart. There is a natural mountain spring close by in Allenspark. It is managed, monitored, icy-cold, and FREE. Our host this year at Pika, Kurt Pelz, was helpful, friendly, hardworking. and nice. The bathrooms were spotless!

This was a very well kept and peaceful campground. We originally stayed 2 nights but ended up escaping the heat in Lyons and driving back for a third night. It was well maintained and a lovely stay!

Nice clean campsites but no potable water anywhere on site (which apparently is standard for national forest but I was not aware). Also, there was no bathroom anywhere close to our campsite which was unfortunate.

Nice sitting and enjoyable location. Close to the NP and the community

We had site 55 and really liked it. It had a nice area for sitting, big trees and rocks, and had a nice level tent pad. There was enough space between sites that we didn't feel crowded. The bear box was big enough for a big tub for our food and both coolers. We were able to get fresh cold spring water from the pump at Allenspark, just a few minutes drive away. The camp host was friendly and sold us nice wood each night for our fire. Our only complaint was the intense smell from the outhouses. They were clean inside but almost overwhelming to use due to the odor. This campground is less than 30 minute drive to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park along the Peak to Peak highway which has nice views of the surrounding mountains. Would definitely stay in this campground again!

Lives in the are over 55 years and had no idea there is such a nice campground so close to the metro area. Serves the purpose of this trip but still prefer more remote sites.

Very nice campground, nice for hiking in Rocky Mountain NP.

Great old national forest campground. Great hosts. I will say site #36 really should be a tent only site. I could fit my teardrop at the front, but the table and fire ring are about ~50' away by the tent pad.

This campground is made for tents, truck camper toppers or small travel trailers. If you have a travel trailer longer than 24 ft you are going to have a hard time finding a spot or backing in if you are still beginner level. There is a lot of decorative rocks placed on the edge of the road making it harder to back in. Be careful driving through the campground if you have a travel trailer. There are some trees that are too close to the road and if you are not paying attention your trailer is going to run into it. All the spots are NOT LEVEL. You will need to bring lots of blocks to make your camper level. Looking at 4 to 8 inch lift correction to get level. If you need cell signal you will need to drive towards Allenspark and park next to the fire station and The Old Gallery store.

I stayed in site 39 which in theory looked isolated from the rest of the campground, but beware, there is a ton of highway noise. As well, there are large boulders behind the campsite which seemingly attract the entire campground. There was a mega ton of activity at all hours with kids and adults the like, climbing all over them and making a ton of noise. Many people walked through my campsite. My cat who stays in my small trailer with me did not enjoy this and neither did I. There was one major incident with a large group of adults staying in site 34 who were in those boulders, throwing knives at old lodge pole pines. It was awful. I went to the camp hosts who handled it. The camp hosts were great. I dont know if I would stay here again. This is one of the loudest campgrounds Ive been to. Doesnt seem like there is any site you can get away from loud people. Sites are so close together. Again, bathrooms were clean and camp hosts are great. Just a busy and loud campground. My taste is quiet and peace.

I think this campground was really nice! Nice campsites. However, there is no water. I dont understand why they dont fix that issue. Its so inconvenient! The pottys are stinky, but thats to be expected. The other issue we had was that the site we picked was not near enough big for our camper. I dont know why the website let us reserve that one. Anyway, the camp host helped us find one that we fit in, but then we were not by the rest of our family. That was disappointing so make sure of the size of your site. The camp host was super nice and very helpful. Overall, we liked the campground.

We loved being able to have a campsite with shade and trees to hang our hammocks from. It was a great campground with friendly hosts!

Note: No water at campground. Otherwise, great! Close to good hiking, lots of shade and space between campgrounds. Caretaker was kind and came to explain rules, good culture from campers where ppl were quiet 10 to 6, and nice to walk around. Clean bathrooms, great views. Will come back.

We have been camping a lot at campgrounds across the country. By far this place had the cleanest restrooms and nicest camp host I have ever experienced.

Site was kinda in middle of campgrounds so just surrounded by people. Could use water, which just said will be in next year

Great location, site 55 was awesome, fun rocks, relatively secluded, close to bathroom without risk of smell. Hosts checked in frequently.

A well taken care of campground! Camp hosts were great, spaces are spread out, and we saw elk and moose on the edge of the campground. Easy 25min drive to RMNP. Would highly recommend.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
