We have stayed in the campground for the past 4 years, always after Labor Day. We always have a great time. Camp spots & campground have always been spotless, the hosts are accommodating and very nice. We'll be back next year!

It rained our whole trip but, the country side was just beautiful with all the green grass and flowers. A photografers paradise for sure.

The rangers were all so helpful and knowledgable. The campsites were clean and restful. Although it seems there are a lot of campers/sites, nobody can be seen from your site once you're set up. Lots of wonderful animals to see.

The staff were very helpful. Restrooms (flushing + sink) were clean, no showers available (shower station was closed). Loved the location (easy access to drive/go wherever for boating, fishing, hiking, scenic driving, bird watching, sunset watching, etc). Quiet at night (except for coyotes, elk, owls, and the occasional dog).

Sites were well maintained and host were very friendly and restrooms very clean. Main loop c had a lot of traffic and there were quads and dirt bikes driving up and down the road all day. Dump station had waves of very busy times. Close to the lake and the store by the lake. Weather in July was mid 70s in the day and 60s at nite. Theres water to fill trailer at dump station. Dumping is $4.00 for guests and $8.00 non guests. Store prices are high and no workers wore masks or gloves. Store has gasoline but not diesel. Store has fishing supplies, boat rentals and food stuff. Boat rentals are 1 hour to all day. Its 20 min to Eager and 25 to springerville. There is a Ace Hardware there that has camping supplies and RV supplies. There is a shop called The Sweat Shop next to circle K that has hunting and cycling supplies. Week days are less congested then weekends. Generators off from 10 pm to 6am. Lots have no hook ups. Lots are full of chipmunks and squirrels and they get into everything. Keep your food inside or locked up. At nite theres the souls of elk and there is deer and antelope by the roads.
