I went there to camp with a tent, the trailers were so noisy with their large commercial generators powering up their AC and toys etc. I didnt last the night pulled my tent and went home, two days of camping fees down the toilet, the system needs to accommodate all campers! I was warned by others, its a noisy, polluted by generator fumes camp site .

I had site #23. Easy parking of trailer since the road through the campground is one-way. Beautiful view of the lake and dam. Site was nice and clean as well as level when I arrived.

Campsite was clean and ready for me to occupy. Campground Host was very friendly. Bathrooms were pretty good overall...there is only so much you can do with vault toilets. I had #23 and what a view!!!

The campground was clean, well maintained, and we had a great view of the lake. The sights are a little close together, but overall it was great and definitely will visit again. Our camp hosts were great as well. Lesley & her partner.

The campground is a gem for the Arizona State park system. By far the best campground on the Rim.

After 8 consecutive years staying at this campsite, it's always such a beautiful and pleasant experience that never gets old. I love renting a kayak on the lake each year and hiking around the area. Just sitting by the lake each morning reading a book and watching the Osprey dive into the lake for trout is so enjoyable!

Our site was one of the best in the campground, overlooking the lake! Most of the stay, our camp host was Linda and she was great. The bathrooms were kept clean. The campground was quiet during the night.
