I was impressed how well the staff cleaned the bathrooms even when some of the guest left them in a mess. This was the first time I had been in a "set" evaculation statis. A ranger initially gave us notice of the statis and about 10 minutes later a couple of campground hosts came by to make sure we knew what that ment and give us advise on how to prepare. GOOD JOB

Love this campground. Great being at this elevation, even early on in the summer season. been coming here for quite awhile and plan to continue to do so, provided that we can get a campsite reservation. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Campground well maintained.

Canyon Point has become one of our favorite campgrounds. The sites are surrounded by trees and spaced far apart. The grounds are immaculate and the toilets are well maintained. There are showers available, and a dump station and water fill up area for RVs. We have camped here numerous times and have never had a problem.

Woman employee at checkin was super friendly. Very welcoming. A gentleman employee who was at the campsite assisted with my backing the trailer in, as it was a tight turn. Very helpful. Went to two evening lectures/videos with Ranger Bob at the amphitheater. He was great. Good speaker, interesting info. Overall, the best stay at this campground that weve had over the years.

30 amp RV power had an Open Ground which did not allow us to use our surge protector. They attempted to fix, but couldnt over our 2 week stay, claiming they couldnt get an electrician out to fix the issue. Rules: Largest font in the middle if page stated Nothing attached to trees. No hammock's, swings, tarps or dogs. We were told 3 times that nothing was allowed because the forest service would not allow. We were the only camp out of the surrounding 8 other camps WITHOUT anything hanging. Even though Canyon Point campground and Forest Service patrolled daily, no one else removed any hammocks, tarps, ropes for hanging clothes, ropes for hanging pots and pans, and dogs tied to trees. If there are rules, they should be enforced equally or removed from the list given when you enter camp.

We arrived an hour early on a Sunday and our site was still occupied. But the staff was most accommodating. We voiced our willingness to return in an hour but they found us a shaded place to park and as soon as the site was vacated they had staff there to ready the site for our stay. We waited no more than 20-25 minutes. We loved the park. It was our first visit and we will be back.

Camp host was rude. Too many of the premium sites are not able to be reserved and are instead set aside as first come first serve sites, so for those of us who plan ahead and reserve sites have no chance to get the premium sites overlooking the water because the camp host does not allow changing sites even when there are lots open.

Love this campground and area. Very clean, quiet, staff very friendly. We love coming up here from the desert in Tucson, and feel fortunate to have scored an electric site again for our travel trailer.
We've only camped in Loop A, in an electric site, of which there are only 32 in the entire CG of 117 sites. Was very dismayed to see tent campers camped in a number of the electric sites. Seems to me these sites should be reserved for those that need the hookup. There are plenty of other sites for tents. Talked with the staff people running the CG and they said they were powerless to enforce such a provision. This really needs to be looked into. Was also surprised that campfires were allowed, especially given the tinder dry forests and the already too numerous forest fires burning in AZ Rules for campfires were explained when we checked in, but of course there were a number of folks who disregarded this and had essentially bonfires.

Host always friendly :) They are always checking if we need anything.Campgrounds and showers always clean!The only thing wish that showers were opened on Mondays.But that's minor and overall ...always looking forward for our camping trips:)

Great facility and helpful hosts. Nice to have the 30 amp power. Pretty much no T-Mobile service but I wasnt complaining.
