1. Barking puppy nonstop starting at 5:30am2. People on site 8 had their 4 children doing their laundry in buckets and hanging on 4 clotheslines and were not seen or heard other than doing laundry. Told the campground manager something was not right but nobody did anything to see if the kids were okay. 3.I have papers with 3 different departure times on them. 1pm, 12pm and 11am at 10:39 we were told we had to be out by 11am which caused us to rush missing the awning that was open and it completely was destroyed. We have camped at Canyon Point many times and have never had an issue. This one was very costly and the camp hosts came over and told us we were in the way while trying to remove the arms of the awning but we werent. People could still get by4. Bathrooms and showers need to be painted, new mirrors and cleaned up

It's nice having electric and the amenities provided. The showers are kept very clean as are the out-houses. The whole place is immaculate. There really is not much to do right in the campground but it is well located to the lakes and hiking nearby. The sink-hole hike is a feature. Great little store in Forest Lakes with great staff there. Canyon Point seems a little cold on a human standpoint. Campers keep to themselves and for the most part are quiet. We've stayed there several times for 10 or so nights. There are a lot of bigger rigs and a lot of people with those off-road things that people drive around the camp. One time there was a minor driving around and around all day. They say that is not allowed but it is. All in all it is an enjoyable getaway from the summer heat. Our T-Mobile gets a weak signal off and on. I see people with those dishes so I guess that works. There was a guy parked kitty corner to us for a few days that gave up on his after moving it around for several days. We don't have one so I don't know how that works. We had some trouble with our power cord and the campground hosts helped us to reset it.
