Enjoyed our stay here. This site is on the outside edge of the campground, so no one behind us, which was nice. This area of the campground also seemed less crowded and quieter than some of the other areas near "the meadow". The site itself was pretty rocky around the picnic table and fire ring. So if you are clumsy or have littles, it could be dangerous at night. About a 15 minute walk to the lake from this site. Lake was beautiful and the fishing was good! Would definitely come back but will pick a different site next time.

The campground is a great, fun campground. The hosts keep up with the cleanliness. When I was there earlier in June, the campground was dust. This time in August with the monsoon rain the campground was like the Louisiana Bayou minus the alligators but extra mosquitos. Flooding of the camp sites was an issue. Camp hosts allowed us to change campsites. Hosts were gracious but Forest Service seriously needs to work on drainage and spray for mosquitos.

Great campsite. Clean, Shady and convenient. Dump station has hose for easy connection. Fresh water also available to fill fresh water tank.

Excellent campground. The spaces are well thought out and spaced from each other. Wish the website would include updated photos and denote things such as trees growing next to entrance which makes for tight entry/exits with big rigs. Or if it was noted large boulder at end of driveway, where roads are in relation to spaces etc. so you wouldn't plan on backing in farther or hear road noise etc. Would also be nice if the site stated when they were closing for season and shutting down part of campground. These are just things the site should update and no reflection on the campground. One thing would be nice if the entry to the campground was repaved rather than adding a 'rough road' sign. May need additional dumpsters as the fill up pretty quickly. Also, need to note at entrance, on maps & site, the dump station is $7 extra and is not free even if you paid for a site. Hosts were extremely nice and kept the place clean.
