Our group had a wonderful time! The bathrooms were really clean and our group enjoyed lake fishing. Exceptional grounds and a great camp host!

I paid to stay from the 9th to the 13th and I left on the 11th and nobody seems to want to refund me any of my money and recreation.gov is no help what so ever. This was the most HORRIBLE trip EVER. 1st of all there is a resident bear that frequents the area…. Ok I may be able to handle that, but 2nd of all there are freakin RATTLESNAKES right there in my campsite not to mention spiders as big as my fist and red ants that swarm your tent the first night, on top of all that there was a fire ban so I couldn’t cook my kids any food at all. This was just the most horrible camping trip I have ever been on. Rattlesnakes tho? Oh heck no. My kids saw that rattler and that monster spider and they slept in the van and I did too. That was crazy. The ground is not level to pitch your tent and on top of all that the lake is 2 miles away and you have to pay to get in every day, access should be included with camping. So you can’t fish or swim unless you pay more money and the lake closes at 6 pm. Wth. I drove 5 1/2 hours to get here and it was a total waste of time and money. Don’t waste your time of money. There’s way better out there. Someone needs to refund me my money for the days that I did not stay.
