We loved the campground. We had reservations, so check-in and check-out were easy. We loved our campsite. Many of the campsites are really large, and it was easy to back our 32' camper into the site. We have a senior lifetime America the Beautiful pass, so we had a nice discount for our stay. There wasn't any firewood for sale at the campground, but there are plenty of places around that are willing to sell some. The only downside was that it was October, and although it wasn't really cold outside, the shower house was not heated, so taking a shower was a goosebump experience. The bottom line is that we will go back again, even if it is chilly outside. We had an electric site, but there were also a lot of "primitive" sites and they were really nice looking sites.

Had a great time while camping. Some of the sites are closed in a bit for larger campers/RVs and need to be trimmed to prevent scratching on roof or sides.The showers are clean but the hot water is really only warm at best, it would be great to turn up the heat on the instant hot water heaters.

The campsites are nice. The weather wasn't, but that's camping. The biggest thing on this campground is that it is very close to a very busy US highway and you will get quite a bit of road noise, trucks etc. So, it is not especially a quiet place. Otherwise, it seems like a nice place with good facilities.

Speed bumps are a killer on my camper and truck. It's tight fit down the road and the speed bumps serve no purpose.

Large, shaded, level spots. 30 amp service needs updated but good enough for air and fans but not microwave. We cooked outside in a fire ring. Peaceful surroundings with showers, ice, firewood all of which is honor system pay. Dump site available but no drinking water. We enjoyed our stay and will visit again but will come better prepared. Water for nondrinking is available at several nonsite areas

It is a great park and we love staying there. We were in site 20 and the picnic table was in very poor condition.

First time at Buckaloons. It is not big rig friendly. However that is understandable because most of these places where built years ago when rvs was smaller. I booked site 5 with 50 amp service. The 50 amp was not working so plugged into the 30 amp till we could figure out about getting a different site. Camp host was out of the park at the time so I called the Warren park office so maybe they could send someone to fix it. After a while the host came back and speaking to them was really not much help. The would not call their boss to see about moving me to a double site that was unoccupied. They wanted to move me to another site that the 50 amp was not working. After she made the comment the 50 amp has not worked for some time now. I told them since you dont want to call about moving me to the double site. I told them that I am just going to move to it since it was not reserved. But over all it was a nice stay. Its posted that you can not swim or float in the river there. Probably will not go back.

We love this campground! The sites are huge, secluded and well kept. The bath facilities are modern and clean.

Very well maintained park, bathrooms were well kept. This campground gets a bit of road noise during the day due to it's proximity to a trucking company, but was quiet at night. Sites were isolated enough that you're not looking into each others windows. We have ATT wireless, and while we didn't have more than a bar or two, reception was great every day. Located right on the Allegheny River, so bring your boat.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
