It is a great park and we love staying there. We were in site 20 and the picnic table was in very poor condition.

First time at Buckaloons. It is not big rig friendly. However that is understandable because most of these places where built years ago when rvs was smaller. I booked site 5 with 50 amp service. The 50 amp was not working so plugged into the 30 amp till we could figure out about getting a different site. Camp host was out of the park at the time so I called the Warren park office so maybe they could send someone to fix it. After a while the host came back and speaking to them was really not much help. The would not call their boss to see about moving me to a double site that was unoccupied. They wanted to move me to another site that the 50 amp was not working. After she made the comment the 50 amp has not worked for some time now. I told them since you dont want to call about moving me to the double site. I told them that I am just going to move to it since it was not reserved. But over all it was a nice stay. Its posted that you can not swim or float in the river there. Probably will not go back.

We love this campground! The sites are huge, secluded and well kept. The bath facilities are modern and clean.

Very well maintained park, bathrooms were well kept. This campground gets a bit of road noise during the day due to it's proximity to a trucking company, but was quiet at night. Sites were isolated enough that you're not looking into each others windows. We have ATT wireless, and while we didn't have more than a bar or two, reception was great every day. Located right on the Allegheny River, so bring your boat.

Out house were over full. No toilet paper for 4 days. No soap in the bath house to wash hands. Ice is not avaible past 5:00 pm. Have been coming to the Bucaloons for 20 years this was the worst trip ever.

Buckaloons is a fantastic little campground along the Allegheny River. I spend at least 12 - 24 days camping in the Buckaloons per year. One Negative comment I have is that the Campground host's are not addressing the dog owners who's dog's bark at times continuously. I find this very frustrating, when the barking dog's owners do not have enough sense or common curiously to stop dog's from over barking the campground hoists should! this is not being done and need to be addressed. The Warren / Kinzua area is full on family friendly opportunities to be hade on the cheap $$$. The Wilder Museum two minutes from Buckaloons is a must. The Pa. Lumber Museum is just a couple hours away. Then there is the great Allegheny River to be enjoyed. Don't forget to take in Rimrock / Jake's overlooks after a stop into The Dockside by the lake while your visiting the greater Kinzua area.

Excellent time while visiting! A tree came down and the camp host was quick to take care of it so we wouldnt be impacted on our last day!

Nice facilities. Big sites. It was packed with people, but everyone was very respectful, especially during quiet hours. The launch has no dock, but is ideal for canoes and kayaks.

Our first time here with our 2 dogs. Beautiful camping area and well maintained. The restroom/shower area was cleaned daily. The roads are also well maintained and nice for walking. We were with a few others and next time we will explore more. Looking forward to returning.

I put some hay down around the site to help control the mud and wetness, and was rudely ordered to remove it by the camp host (immediatley)

Two times we had to drive miles out of the way to get ice because the ice machine was always locked. The view looking over to the allegheny was much blocked because everything was over grown.

Nice park. Grass sites. Main bathrooms were clean. Center bath being repaired. Camp hosts exceptional. Not much of a day use area. Many hiking and biking trails within 30 minutes.

Very nice small campground but well taken care of. There is a nice 1.1 trail around the campground. The Seneca natives lived in the area. Historical sign depicts the history and the Seneca flag flies at the entrance.

My husband and I have found Buckaloons campground delightful, the sites are always clean and ready. Very helpful staff and facilities very clean. We will continue to enjoy our visits there in the coming future trips.

Other than the insane amount of mosquitoes, everything was great. The bathrooms were kept exceptionally clean by the camp hosts and the rest of the facilities were well maintained. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful camp ground as well as having the facilities located in convenient spots around the grounds. Trail is nice to walk on a beautiful day. We have a great time every time we stay at Buckaloons!

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
