We love Dewdrop. This is our 6th summer camping here and it was one of the best. The bathrooms and facilities are well taken care of and clean. The hosts were super helpful.

Site#12. Very spacious and nice little trail down to the water. Bath house was close and clean, firewood and ice available for purchase on site, camp hosts were very friendly and attentive if needed, and campground was quiet. Very nice time, going back next month!

Campground was well maintained and staff was FANTASTIC. Bathrooms were cleaned regularly. Beautiful area with plenty to do. We will be returning. I wish there was water and electric hook ups available but I knew that when booking.

The campground hosts were so above and beyond great. I have never seen the facilities so well maintained in all my years of going to Dewdrop in Allegheny National Forest. The weather was humid this year but the fun out on the reservoir made it easy to cool down and we had a great time. The easy access from camp sites to boating makes the sites close to the water anno brainier for a great family vacation. We were able to pitch our tent in a place that felt quiet but Dewdrop Run ended up drowning out any nearby sites, anyway.

Shhhhhhh. Site 31 has a special place in my heart. 74 is a gem. Walking to the water, and hauling gear to some sites from vehicle maybe a problem for some with mobility issues due to the hills. No Cell Signal is a bonus. Place is beautiful.

Great place to camp. Clean bathroom/showers. Friendly staff.

Campground hosts Jess and Maddie are wonderful. From checkin, to wood and ice purchases, to providing info while they are out and about, they are top notch. The washrooms are clean and stocked. The sites are clean, and having your name on the post when arriving is a nice added touch.

What else is there to say. Great waterfront camping in a beautiful location, destination quality mountain bike trails. Wake up ride up the mountain and back down have a swim go for a paddle and relax at your site. I also suggest doing the down river paddle from the dam to Warren. The take out is co-located with Allegany Outfitters (cool store for gear rentals and souvenirs) and Bent Run Brewery (who doesn't like a good beer after an outdoor adventure).

We enjoyed our stay at Dew Drop. All facilities were clean. The camp hosts were very friendly and maintained the campground very well. The only issue was the lack of hot water in the showers.

This was my first experience doing primitive camping and Dewdrop was a perfect place for it. The campsite itself at 62 was pretty large by since it rained in the week before the little hill going up to the campsite from the driveway was very muddy and then there was water pulling at the top close to the wood line. Both picnic tables were in pretty good shape in the fire pit was just a little rusty but that’s to be expected. The camp site had some roots sticking out that were a little bit of a tripping hazard at night but it wasn’t that bad. We fit an 6 person ( there was only 2 of us we just like out space) and we had plenty of room for more tents. The camp ground was nice but had some issues. There’s only one shower area there and it was pretty clean and there’s a button for hot water for 2 1/2 \3 1/2 mins but I got maybe 30 seconds of warm water. There are multiple bathrooms but the nicest one was near the road leading to the boat ramp. The other ones had broken toilets and doors. I would also suggest getting dry wood from somewhere else or bring wood starter because we got wood from the main entrance and it was fresh cut wood so it was hard to get lit.
I will also say the two ladies working the camp site when we went were very nice and helpful with questions and inquiries.
I would recommend this site 100 %. And they told me the best sites are 74 and 10. But if I had to suggest some after driving around, I’d go with 5,6,33,17, any of the 60’s, and 33.
Some of my group is already going back in late July.

Enjoyed our stay. Very quiet campground, which is a huge positive for us. Close to hikes. Sites are spaced out so you dont feel like your in top of one another.

#74 is a great, secluded campsite with lake access. It was a great place for a much-needed re-charge. I camped during the week in mid-September, so the campground was not busy. Hiking trails in the area were also almost empty of other hikers, which made for a very peaceful few days in nature.One thing to note: The walk down to the campsite from the designated parking area is steep, so be prepared. I would suggest leaving the heavy gear/coolers/etc. at home unless you are OK with carrying them down (and back up) a steep hill.

Loved this campground and with the road closed pass the campground made this place very quiet of background noise. Great that it has both water and a dump, close to the reservoir, hiking trails, Jakes Rocks and Warren isnt far.

Great spot! Access to the water via a small path. We took SUPs and it was awesome! You can access Jack's Rocks from the campground and we rode our mountain bikes. Very well maintained trials. The caretakers were friendly. The bathrooms are pretty basic and "rustic." But it's camping! We'll definitely be back.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
