This was our first visit to this campground. We were in the area for a family gathering at a family member's home near by. Access to the park is convenient, just off the highway, The host was helpful when I call for information and directions. We would camp here again.

Beautiful sites! Great host! Bathrooms were clean, lots of pull through sites, every site appeared to be very level, wharfs at many sites for easy access for personal watercraft, $13.00 per night with a Senior Pass. You cant stay home for that!

As are most CORP of Engineering campgrounds, this one is outstanding, large parking areas, restroom very clean, lots of hot water in shower.
If you are interested in History, visit Old Cahawba, site of the first permanent capitol of Alabama. Also Selma, is not too far from the camp.
Would have enjoyed going to the locks, but that has been stopped since 911.
The visitor center for Millers Ferry Lock and Dam is worth an visit also.

Stayed 7 days and camping trip was nice, Connie was at the gate house and she was so helpful with everything. None of the restrooms had paper towels or soap, maybe it was a COVID thing.
