We were locked into the campground and unable to leave until 7am. The gate was locked with a padlock. This is unacceptable. A gate arm with keypad or equivalent should be installed to allow registered campers to come and go as needed.

Its a beautiful park and I really enjoyed my stay. I met friends there and did not leave the park at all during my short stay. I would definitely go back.

We have camped in all 48 contiguous states, and this is my personal favorite!
A great Corps Campground, especially when you add in our Golden Pass. Extremely scenic; rolling hills and Black Warrior River thrown in. Campsites are exceptionally well laid out.
