We enjoyed a great stay at shaded site 37 on a bluff overlooking the water. We were set up in a tent trailer at parking level with table, chairs, pop up toilet area on the lower level. Good cell signal. Quiet (mid-week stay). Every site is attractive, just need to select based on size of camper as some would not work with big rigs. Bathhouse was very clean, however its a steep walk up from sites along the river. Highly recommend for beauty, cleanliness, privacy, and friendly attendants.

The park is nice and on a ridge above Holt Lake. The lake is not very accessible from the campground but does have a beach you can drive to. There is only one bath house for the entire campground.

We were in site 37 which was terraced like most sites. We had very little space from the RV to the steps leading down to a nice gravel area and deck with a picnic table. My only complaint is the River Bluff sites require you to turn around in one of two cul-de-sacs. The cul-de-sac before sites 33 and 34 is the larger of the two and using the road to the lower sites should not be too bad to turn around in. We were in site 37 which required us to use the lower cul-de-sac which is small. Thank goodness the campers in site 39 and 40 had left. We pulled into site 40 and then backed into site 39 and were able to get turned around. We were in a Chevy 3500 pulling a 28 foot RV.

We only stayed one night, but what a gem. We were moved to site 37 which was great but not easy to get out of with our F250 pulling our 24’ trailer. The turn around was tight. We did see a bald eagle fly by and the temps were great.

Vert unique campground. Nice to have a real person to check in with at the gate The volunteers that run this campground are the friendliest and most helpful we have ever meet. The park is very well maintained The rangers are very courteous and a wealth of knowledge. Would highly recommend this campground just be mindful of your rig’s length and some camp sites have grades to them. Oh yes they almost all have decks!

Need to update the new phone number on the website and find someone to answer the phone.

This is a beautiful campground. Certain areas were very tight to maneuver getting in and out. But I did read that in most reviews so we knew to expect that when we booked. It was very peaceful and very well-kept.

Beautiful, relaxing park. Well kept with friendly camp hosts. It was fun to watch the barges from our site 37. We saw several deer in the evenings.

Staff was nice. However they put us in a spot that was suppose to be a pull thru but we could barely turn to get in because of the stop sign. When we left we could not turn around to get out. We had to back out on a s curve. It was a nightmare!

It was a horrible experience. Another couple came in and could not get in their spot next to us and had to leave.m, and they had to book for 5 days.

They need to do a better job of assigning rigs to spots they can fit!

Wonderful, beautiful site. The only thing that would make it any better is if there were sewer hookups. However, the dump station as you leave the campground is handy and easy to use. Site 37 and maybe 38 are the best sites in the whole park.

What a great campground! Friendly staff, beautiful surroundings, clean, and wonderful. If I ever come through again, this is where I'll stay.
