The park was very nice with a rustic feel to it. The bathrooms and showers were very clean. The in park roads were a little confusing with dead ends but had turn arounds easy to navigate

Its a beautiful campground. Easy to access sites, easy to drive on roads in campground. Large rig friendly.

I camped at site 117. It was a beautiful view. The camp host were wonderful. I could not have asked for more relaxing week. I truly enjoyed staying there and watching the river. I think the fishing was great too. I saw lots of people with lots of fish only I dont fish.

First visit to this location and we were just stopping for one night on our way home from FL. Arrived around 730pm and no camp host to be found and stopped in front of their sites and got no help. NO phone service to call for help so had to search out our spot in the dark in this very large complex park. Next day the host knocked on our camper around noon and asked why we never checked in. We couldn't check in with no one around and said we were leaving so we'd be checking in and out shortly, and still no one around at the gate when we left. Not the best experience outside of the park either. Dangerous area coming in and going out.

We always enjoy our trips to Pickensville. Nice host. Good sites. My 2 year old loves seeing the barges.

Bathrooms were old but were cleaned everyday. FHU was fabulous.

We really enjoy our time when we go to Pickensville. The host is super sweet and the place is always clean. we recommend this place to everyone that loves to camp. While we were their we had boat motor trouble and a very nice couple towed us in. Thanks to that sweet couple.. We will be back as soon as we can get the time off. Thanks again for a great stay.Darlene and Buddy.

WE always try to get by the river were we can see the boats and barges. We love the times we are there with the grands and the kids. Dont really have to worry about them. Everyboby looks out for each other.

Enjoyed our stay. Plenty of grounds to walk and see the trees and nature. Close to the river, so we could fish and watch the barges going up and down the river.
