We were in the old section of the park and it isnt nice like the newer section is.Roads are very tight, no sewer and bugs were bad. I know you cant help the bugs but our site hadnt been cleaned off in forever. Found and arrow and trash on the site.No cell service at all. We ended up staying one night and moving to another campground

There are two loops, we stayed in the "A" loop to save a couple of bucks compared to the "B" loop. The road into the loop is asphalt, but full of potholes and the asphalt itself has broken off in areas. The sites are very tight, un-level and gravel, FULL of poison ivy. The "B" side on the other hand was paved, mowed and not so close together. Either the park should drop its cost of the "A" loop or they need to use those fees for sprucing (and not the tree) it up.

Sites were clean and well maintained. Bath house was fairly clean but could use some maintenance.

We love camping at Gunter Hill. It is a beautiful campground down next to the river. The full hookup sites are great and mostly level. We will return to Gunter Hill as often as we can.

Nice campground!! Plenty of space, lots of shade, playground. We will definitely come back.
