We only stayed 1 night, site 122, but site was beautiful. Hosts were very helpful with info about the area. Would definitely recommend.

The View was awesome . People at the Gate Where really nice ! The bath house was the worst I have ever seen ! They where not dirty but falling apart! We camped on the old side. Next time we will camp on the new side .

The camping site itself is lovely and the park is beautifully designed. However, the washrooms are not well serviced on a regular basis...garbage is emptied and floors/sinks are given a cursory wipe, but everything else is filthy. As well, the plumbing fixtures need repair - some are falling right off and the wall units between bathrooms and showers are falling apart. We have stayed at many state/provincial/national parks, so we understand the difference between "volume" that can cause floors to be dirty and neglect from lack of good cleaning. This is an unfortunate problem for what could be such a wonderful park experience.

We were delighted with our campsite which was very peaceful and we were able to look out over the river and watch the shorebirds. Unfortunately we could only spend one night and had to leave early in the morning so we did not get to explore the campground. It would certainly come here again if we were ever in the area.

Wonderful people at check-in and beautiful spot. Only negative is we woke to THOUSANDS of ants inside our RV. Definitely treat with a barrier!

There is a really huge difference between the two loops in this campground. We chose the unimproved side so that we wouldn't have to hear the AC units and other noise from big rigs. I loved our site but you REALLY need to work on the restrooms, they were worse than sad.

The sites were really nice and private, Overall the campground was very quiet. There were fireflies everywhere which was really nice to see. My only dislikes are the state of the bathhouse, the showers were possibly the dirtiest I have used at any campground. There were large amounts of hair on the floor, the shower curtains for the door of the shower had mildew on them and did not cover the doorway opening and the shower hardware was leaky/difficult to adjust. We also could not find a dumpster/recycling to discard our garbage on the way out. We ended up using the trash can that is next to the dump station.

Great view at camp site. Good location to Selma and Montgomery.

. You might not want to go on Friday or Saturday night if you enjoy quiet though because of the racetrack at the entrance. Pretty noisy for such a nice park.

My stay at Gunter Hill Campgrounds could not have been more perfect. The fee was beyond reasonable and my view was spectacular.

This campground is potentially really nice...and maybe was well maintained at one time, but currently, the potholes, rusting pedestals, and older bathhouse make it seem sad.

Nice view of the lake.

Staff was very helpful and pleasant. The sites were clean and super nice. Our site backed to the lake and it was very nice. We were hoping for better weather, but perhaps next time.
We would definitely stay here again.
