Sites 69 and 67 kind of face each other around the curve so there is less privacy.Paul M Grist State Park is about and hour away for some hiking trails. There is a walking trail between the loops. If the creek is flowing under the pipe you have to take the road.

.y Husband and I visit was very nice and relaxing. The grounds were will maintain and the walking trails were picture perfect. The ants tried to mess things up for us but the stay was too beautiful to allow that. If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing place to stay with service that treat you like family it's the pace to be just bring something to fight off the ants.

As always, everything was wonderful with our visit to Gunter Hill. One of our very favorite parks. Your gate workers are always the very best!!

Each site we have stayed on has needed more gravel around the cement pads . My husband is in a wheelchair and it makes it hard to get to the camper when its not level .. I also bring my elderly mother and its hard for her to walk there .please consider adding some to the well used sites . Thank you

The road back into the park area was not pleasant, lots of trash along the roadway, but the campground was beautiful! Massive sized camping pads and great facilities. We enjoyed a very peaceful and serene setting. Great deal on camping prices with our America the Beautiful card. We would definitely return to this campground.

I always enjoy camping there. I would like to see some better water front campsites but other than that its a great place to camp.

We arrived at the campground after a long drive around 4:00p, check in is 4:00p and check out is at 3:00p. The folks on the site we reserved were still on the site at that time. They were just getting ready to leave and were gone around 4:20 or so. That was a bit aggravating, but the worst part was yet to be discovered. After we got all set up, we found out that the campers before us somehow managed to spill diesel fuel all over the campsite. It was raining and the diesel spread all over in the rain and it stunk to high heaven! I had to be very careful when walking our dogs because of the fuel. It was a mess! Someone from the office should have been checking on the state of the campsites before new campers arrived. We were very disappointed because the campground is so nice, but it seems to have gone downhill since the last time we camped there.

We loved our trip. Cycling was great the weather was beautiful. The only complaint that we have is the chiggers! We camped in March and again in May and both times we had a problem with chiggers while sitting by the fire.

Our site was large enough for our motorhome and toad with room to spare. Although the park was full, we had plenty of privacy for two adults and two canine children. We did not use the bathhouse.
