This is perhaps one of the best campgrounds we have stayed at in our travels. Large treed level sites. Quiet and in great proximity to Montgomery. Loved it.

What a beautiful park! The campsites are huge and are well maintained. Its gets dark really early, so be prepared to start the campfire or movie! If you are looking for great seafood, the Catfish House is fantastic. You will have to drive about 15-20 minutes to get to most shopping spots, but thats not bad at all! Gunter Hill made our return list for sure.

Very nice campground! I stayed in the Cantoma loop and it has long, level concrete pads with full hookups. The Verizon cell coverage is marginal but it’s there. Overall, I love the park and will definitely be back!

We have camped at many, many campgrounds over our 48 years of being married and I can honestly say that Gunter Hill is one of the very best!!!
