This was our 1st time camping at Gunter Hill. We loved it, so much we booked to come back 4 weeks later. It was quite and clean. The staff was super friendly and helpful.Gunter Hill will for sure be our Go-To camp ground for quick little getaways.Thank you all for keeping Gunter Hill a great place to come camp.

This will be a go to campground when I'm in the area! The gate attendants were amazing for information, the sites were very spacious. Very well kept up and clean with free laundry. Beautiful water front sites with full hookups. Who could ask for more? Nice little hiking trail.

Camping made easy. First timers, chose Gunter Hill to try the whole RV life style out and we weren't disappointed. Easy to navigate, level concrete sites with great views and full hookups. We are already looking forward to returning to Gunter Hill and hoping to stay a little longer when warmer weather comes back to central Alabama.

Wonderful campground. Beautiful scenery. Fantastic campground attendants! The only downside was the late night / early morning sulfur smells from the paper mill. We would definitely come here again!!

The campground sites/areas should be better marked with signage designating which sites are in a given area of the camp sites.

The campsites are amazing. Full hook ups and concrete pad with some great views. The deck at the back of the campsite is a great place for a sunset. The only drawbacks for us was the bath houses need attention.

Catoma Loop sites are awesome. The sites along the water are the prettiest weve seen. The sites are widely spaced for privacy. There are many pull through sites.

Great customer service! We were scheduled for a late arrival and they called and told us to look for folder with our site info and map at entry building. Nice little campground, classic COE well engineered and built. We had a short stay, late in and early out.

Nice large sites with full hook ups. Site 25 close to water, level and quit. They have a washer and dry for Landry at 2.50 per load.

Have stayed here a few times... One of our most favorite Gov campgrounds. Only suggestion is it would be nice to have some signs to let you know where to go to campsites

The sites are great, tons of space and great views. We were in 25 that backs right into the water. The people were incredibly friendly. This is a place we will return to as often as we can!

Never seen the grass so high, the park was not kept up like I remember it the first time I visited the park.

There seems to be a senior social group that gathers at various campsites and the pavilion. It's a popular destination for locals as well as travelers. Wonderful campground but we had a couple of issues that detracted from our stay. An annoying neighbor and storms.

We were welcomed by such a friendly gentleman and when we got to our site is was clean and the leaves had been blown off! The campground is kept clean and well maintained.
