We enjoyed a peaceful weekend with our friends. Went walking and exploring and enjoyed a campfire.

Need better shower heads. Looked like a $9 plastic one. There was a split in the side of it which reduce the water pressure from spraying.

We hosted a Rally of the central Alabama Allegro Club; HODA. We had 11 couples there and those that had never camped at Gunter Hill were very impressed with the park. The staff was very friendly and helpful!
We used the pavilion for group gathering and was impressed with the quality of the tables there, the overall size and how well it is kept.
We had a great time and look forward to staying here again in the future!

Gunter Hill COE Campground (just outside of Montgomery, AL) is one of our favorite stops whenever we travel between Michigan and Florida. The location fits our drive perfectly. The campground is hands down one of the nicest we've stayed (and we spend 7-9 months of the year traveling and living in our motor home). The sites are spacious ... and the site amenities are superb! Huge level, paved camping pads, industrial grade utility hookups (Electric, Water, Sewer) that are perfectly located in relation to the site. Park staff is available and helpful - year round! The park is a little off the beaten path ... but it's easily accessible for I-65. There's plenty of quality retail nearby for groceries and supplies. The area itself is rich in history - so there's lots to see and do nearby. Even if we're just passing through - we carve a few extra days to enjoy the stop. The icing on the cake is cost! With the "geezer pass" - we're able to stay at Gunter Hill COE Campground for just $15 a night!!!! Gunter Hill is a real gem!

I loved how it was laid out, spread out each side, at least two or three trailer with a park. The grounds were great. I would love to experience this and every trip I go to.

All sites are great, lots of room, all hookups. Park is located close enough to Prattville to run get anything you can’t find at the Dollar General located practically out side the gate!! We visit this park numerous times a year, located within 35 min from our home.

Beautiful park with lots of trees. Sites are nicely spaced apart and are plenty long for a large RV. Watch out for the low hanging branches that need to be trimmed along the road to the sites (we advised the guy at the exit gate that they need to be trimmed). When exiting the park, it is tight going out the exit lanes. We will use the entrance lane next time as it is wide open.

Beautiful campground. Very well maintained!
Pleasant & quite. We stayed on the full hookup side. All roads paved with concrete pads. Picnic table & fire ring. Good distance between sites. Not many on the water but it’s still so pretty. Moss hanging from trees.

WE love your campgrounds and we would like to see some gravel put on the sites to level them up to the concrete pads as my family has two that are in wheel chairs and they have a hard time getting around the sites easily.... as we visit around most people are older that visit this campground and if you step the wrong way you are on uneven ground and fall or trip on the uneven ground .... everything else is being kept up and clean so we would appreciate all you could to get this done ...

Gunter Hill is a very nice COE park. We stayed on the Catoma side. (Antioch side is closed for the winter) This is a very nice park, well laid out with large lots. Good for walking and biking as most of it is flat. A Dollar General is close. Verizon cell service is fair with 2-3 bars, antenna TV is mostly good. Good park hosts and they do well keeping it clean. Very nice boat ramp.

The site was easy to get in, clean, separated by trees from other campers and spacious. We had full hook up!
