We always enjoy our visits to Gunter Hill campground. We have stayed in various sites at different times and havent found a bad site yet. There is plenty of room between sites and the place is clean and nice. It is a nice place to bring your bike to ride around or walk with your dog.

The sites are large, most are paved with hookups. The campground and surrounding areas are bike friendly. The lake is available to use if you have a boat. We really liked this campground!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The site was level, spacious & clean. The bath house nearest us was in great shape though the other one was badly in need of updating. It had push button showers that require you to keep punching them, miserable way to shower, though it probably saves water. We particularly enjoyed going into Montgomery to visit the National Memorial to Peace and Justice. We had heard many positive comments about this campground and it lived up to them! Well be back.

This park is a hidden gem. Beautiful grounds, great amenities, sizeable sites and overall very well kept. Air conditioned bathrooms were a pleasant surprise. Other campgrounds you feel immediately sticky getting out of the shower and you have to play "dodge bug" while getting ready at the sinks. Staff was very pleasant and extremely helpful before and during our stay. We have camped a few different places and this is currently my favorite.

We had a good experience but Our friends that we camp with we had all made our reservations back on Oct 4, theirs got canceled the Sunday afternoon before we were all supposed to come in on Monday so they were put on the older part of camp ground because some one else had booked it for Thurs. Fri. and Sat. of that week we were all disappointed because we were all seperated We don't think it was handled correctly They should have had their spot and the others should have been put somewhere else
