Great location. Friendly camp workers. Sewer hookup is low to the ground youll need an extension to raise it high enough. Also threads on sewer hookup are bad and would not allow adapter to thread properly.

This is a lovely site with a slight water view peeking through the trees in the winter time. The campground is very quiet and the campground employees are super nice. This was our second stay and we loved it. The FHUs were in good shape and easy to connect to.

Worst, most unusable shower 'facilities' I have seen in the entire USACE system. Despicable condition; one airless, the other blasting heat on a hot day, filthy. I didn't need a cute 'courtesy call' from the hosts while I was trying to drive to the park, I just needed a shower room fit for human use.

The BEST COE park in the system, in my opinion. Thank you Gunter Hill and staff.

The staff was very helpful and courteous!
The sites were extremely good with all amenities you would want!! All paved and many pull through. No problems with the utilities. The sites were very well separated with trees in between.

We love Gunter Hill. Always clean and pruned. The roads are in good repair and good for riding bikes.

This is an excellent campground. We stayed in #37. Our camper is 35 ft. Long and we had no problem moving to our camp site.
Very clean and well kept. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Great campground with cement pads on the Catoma loop. The bath house was clean and well kept. The grounds were very nice as well. The staff was friendly and helpful. I'll be back, for sure!

Very good on all levels. Bathrooms , which I peeked into, need freshening up a bit.

I've stayed here many times on the way to the Gulf coast but never in the spring or summer. The sites are level, long, and private. I think it would be a great place to camp in warmer weather.

A very nice campground close to Montgomery. We were in site 37, close to restrooms which were clean and very well maintained. We recommend and would return if in the area.
