This was my second stay here this winter. The facilities are clean and well kept up and the gate attendants very helpful. Beautiful spacious sites and a very relaxing stay.

Gunter Hill is always clean, well kept. Everyone is always extremely nice and helpful. Sites are large, level and maintained.

Gunter Hill is one of our favorite COE campgrounds. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Sites are large, level and roomy. Beautiful views and some walking trails. Campground and bath houses are clean and well kept. Just a short dr e to Prattville, where you can find great shopping and food

We stayed here to be close to Montgomery and spend a day visiting museums. We were able to take a Uber into downtown Montgomery which saved us driving and parking. The museum are fantastic and we had a wonderful meal there. The campground is also wonderful. Our site was level albeit it was next to the sewer exhaust pipe so did have some odor issues. I recommend using a water pressure gauge since they do have high pressure here. We ended up extending our stay just to have time to enjoy the park. There are two older bathrooms with showers, one has the annoying push button preset hot water and the other is controlled by a knob. Both bathrooms were clean. The lake was a close walk from our site, I did not catch any fish but enjoyed my attempt. There is no Wi-Fi in the park, ATT worked well for us. We definitely will return here.

Sites are well spaced apart and waterfront sites have great views. The boat ramp is very long and very steep. I typically walk my kayak (using wheels) down ramps to launch but this ramp is too steep to walk safely (I'm a senior with bad knees). Sites, bath houses, etc, are kept clean and in good repair.

Lovely, quiet campground. Sites were spacious and shady. Drive in was easy, roads well maintained. You have to know where you are going to get to your site, as there are no signs indicating directions to range of sites. Will camp here again in the near future.

We were there over Labor Day Weekend, 2022. The campground hosts were friendly and helpful. The showers were kept very clean. Our cat escaped just as we were leaving. The hosts and several campers helped us search for him. We ended up staying another night. And just as we thought, at dinner time, the cat showed up. Everyone was relieved.

Only my second visit to Gunter Hill but I found the campground easy to access. It is about 15 minutes off I 65. The campsites are great. Large, paved and easy parking of the camper.

Campground was great. Grounds well kept. Was disappointed in the bath house as it looked like rain had made its way in and left a layer of mud at the door opening. Decided to shower in camper as it was full hookup.

Nice little campground just outside of Montgomery. Only stopped one night on our way through, but enjoyed our stay.
