For the first time, I was terribly disappointed with our experience at Gunter Hill. The bathrooms were not clean and even after my husband reported it to the camp hosts, they weren't cleaned. Gunter Hill used to be my favorite place to camp, but not anymore.

Catoma loop is an excellent paved campground with sewer. Antioch is electric and water only and has gravel roads. The camp hosts were very helpful. It could use some more trails, but the Corps of Engineer's campgrounds don't usually have much in the way of trails. A bit far to civilization, although there is a Dollar General just down the road for emergency supplies.

One of our favorite locations. Large concrete pads equipped with a grill and fire pit. Space between pads allows for privacy. Very neat and clean facility. We love it!

This campground is a little out of the way but not too far off the interstate although the area you go through to get there isnt the best. The restrooms and park in general are kept nice and clean and is restful and quiet. Its a nice place to ride your bike around as well. We would definitely stay here agin in the future.

Overall a very nice COE campground.
Staff was kind as usual, but not efficient in there job.
Lots of friendly locals.
Way off the beaten path so not a good choice for anyone looking to stay for one night.
I give it a 6 out of 10 as far as COE’s go.

The sites are large, and good distance between sites. No noise from other campers to disturb us. We were very pleased with the beautiful nature all around.

Very nice, clean campground. You want to be on the Catoma side.

The campground is spacious, quiet and full hookup facilities. Very good as the rv parking space is big and spacious.

The layout of the camp sites in the more modern loop (Catoma) was great with plenty of privacy in most instances between the sites. Cell service (Verizon & ATT) really fluctuated between sites & loops. Camp sites & roadways in the Antioch loop are in need of repair with many sites appearing to be very unlevel. The gate attendants at the campground were all very nice. The cleanliness of the restrooms was very disappointing. This ACOE campground has a contract with a private company for restroom cleaning & while many other ACOE river & lake projects do the same with great results, these restrooms at Gunter Hill have been neglected especially the one near sites 34 & 35. For example: the stall doors need to be wiped down and the areas on the wall where the toilet flush buttons are located, are downright filthy. As former restroom cleaning volunteers, we found these conditions to be very sad ??.
