This was our first camping trip in our new travel trailer. We really had no idea what to expect. The whole experience was amazing! The campsite was easily accessed and very clean. The grounds were well maintained and provided a nice place for us to walk with our dog. It was quiet and peaceful offering beautiful scenery. The people were friendly but not in our business. I can't say enough wonderful things about Gunter Hill. We will definitely return in the future.

Always a great getaway to meet up with friends from out of town

Campground sites were great. Bathrooms were not.

Bath houses were filthy. Sites were not kept up. Never saw campground host. We were there 5 nights. There were not that many campers during the week. No excuse for bathhouse.

Beautiful and quiet. Loved watching the birds fishing on the river right behind our campsite.

Watch out for reverse polarity in some of the sites. I tried 2 before I got one that was safe.

Good campground. Would be even better if it weren't for the occasional smells warfting from the sewer plant located nearby. You're good as long as the wind blows the right way.

Beautiful park, wish there were more hiking trails and access to water.

This is a beautiful COE in a heavily wooded area. We stayed in the Catoma Loop which is 50-amp FHU and is much nicer than the older Antioch Loop. Catoma Loop sites are either back-in or pull -through with level concrete pads and with a lot of room between sites. Utilities are placed towards the back of the site and worked as expected. Park is away from traffic and is extremely quiet. Our Sprint WiFi could not get a signal and our T-Mobile signal was just good enough for calls text and limited internet. The park is reasonably close to downtown Montgomery.

Great distance between camp sites. Very dark at night which is nice also. I hate camping with street lights everywhere! Very quiet!!
