Park was very nice and the bathhouse is brand new in Antioch section. There are only 4 restrooms, each having their own personal shower so sometimes you have to wait. However, since they are new, they are very nice and it is sweet having your own personal private shower space if needed. They were cleaned regularly. The campsite was clean, shady and more spacious than some campgrounds. It was Memorial Day weekend. The campground was quiet and did not seem overcrowded. Staff was friendly. Antioch section is more rustic than the more updated Catoma section. Gravel sites vs. concrete pads but it is still nice. Mosquito repellent is definitely needed here. We stayed in site 94. There is a nice spot between sites 94 & 93 with shallow water access and a few campers used this for kayak or boat access. I, personally, did not mind this. I will definitely stay at this campground again.

Well first of all this review doesnt allow you to select your star rating. I clicked on very good and nothing happens. But this was one of my favorite places to camp and I look forward to it every time I travel. However, the place has become a bit run down. Picnic tables are so old and worn I was a bit afraid to sit in them. The bathrooms were horrible, doors falling off the hinges, rotting and warped wood, toilets out of order. Then there was posts that marked the camp site there were falling over like someone might have hit them. I was thankful I was able to change my site because the one I had was right next to a large group with grandparents, parents, kids, and dogs. The dogs started barking as soon as I pulled up and no one tried to get them under control. Plus they had so many cars they were spilling over into my site and it appeared they were drinking. But the camp host moved me without a problem it just wasnt the site I had hope for. I was glad to see security driving around. I was told the ACOE was a safe place to camp and they watch over the campground. Im glad to see that was still in place. Most likely I will go back but my hope is that improvements will be made soon.

Very nice campground but bathhouse is very outdated and needs to be replaced.
