Beautiful ACE park during the shoulder season. Likely very crowded in the summer and week ends. Facilities are very good. The host are wonderful. This is an annual stop for us as we travel north to south. Thanks to the ACE staff and hosts.

Our stay was Sept. 28-30, 2024. Everything was great except a putrid sewage smell that started just after dark each night and continued until around lunchtime the next day. It lingered for miles outside the campground; so, it makes me think it had something to do with a local oil refinery and not the campground itself. The campground was beautiful otherwise. The lake was very pretty. Wish there werent gators.

We were in the old section, lots of trees but little grass, lots of people here but most sites are spacious and spread apart. Need more dumpsters, had to drive our trash toward the gate to dump. Lots of parties on the weekend and boat traffic near our site so we could hear lots of activity late at night. The newer section was much more like a RV campground, lots of cement (all pads are concrete). full hook up including sewer, good bike riding, lots of trees and grass.

I stayed in the older section. Beautiful view of the lake and lots of shade trees. This appeared to be the only site that offered water access for shore fishing and tying up a boat at the site.

Bath house in poor condition during our visit of 4/24 tho we're self contained and didn't need them. Interior roads in Antioch loop were ok but could use maintenance. We stayed in the Antioch loop without sewer but it has a dump station. We were in a 43' motorhome and the Catoma loop would have been better for that size. Catoma also has nicer bath house and the roads are in much better condition. We had a great site, 113, right on the water. Would definetely stay again but would prefer Catoma loop.

The Antioch section was older and not loved nearly as much as the other. Defiantly will go back.

We stayed in site 103 and it was great. Very peaceful trip and can not beat the view. We will return to this park. It was great.

The roads and restrooms are in need of repair and updating. The site we were in had a lot of garbage that had been thrown into the wooded area next to us. Disappointed. We learned from others that we were in the old section and there is a new section that is very nice.

Beautiful park, didn’t realize there were full hook up sites. Will definitely stay there again and utilize the full hook up sites next time.

Beautiful campground, arrived and found our permit attached to the gatehouse. We had great help from the host on duty and Joseph Ponder. It was a great stay!

We found this COE park, because it was close to our destination. We selected a site based on the map and a single picture. We were excited when we arrived! The site was long and had a great view of the water. I would say, it was "on the water" with a set of steps to reach the waters edge. The trees provided us some nice shade form the hot summer sun! We will definitely stay here again! If you have a boat, it is a great place to camp!

It was very peaceful and quiet. The only downside was the ants. They crawled up the stabilizer jacks and entered our camper at night. Other than that, we enjoyed our visit.

This is one of our favorite COE Campsites. We did have river access for kayaking and there is a lot of water to explore. The facilities were clean and maintained. The roads looked a little worn and needing some help due to some bad weather, but we loved the peacefulness of this park.

Sites were large. Lots of trees. Gravel pads. Picnic tables need replacement, unsafe to sit on.
