Our campground loop (Antioch) was in dire need of repairs and facelifts. The roads were in terrible condition. The bathhouse, though clean, was also in sad repair. And the individual campsites were lumpy, muddy, and sad.

The Antioch section of the Gunter Hill Campground is not as nice as the Catoma Section by a long shot. We camped in Site 100 in a fifth-wheel and had some trouble navigating the gravel and narrow road to our campsite and then had some issues backing into our site due to trees, other vehicles, and the loop that it was located within. The actual campsite wasn't too bad, but the "vibe" of the Antioch section of the campground is party-hard (Memorial Day Weekend-2023). We ended up finding an opening in the Catoma Section and moving to that section mid-stay and that section was absolutely wonderful. In summary, if you can get into the Catoma section, DO IT, if your only option is Antioch, BEWARE.
