The only real non-issue was the shower head height. Im guessing 5 up from the floor. Im 63 and felt like I had to get on my knees to rinse off. Other than that the park is great and well maintained

We really liked this campground. Had a level site with more than enough room. Services were good. Stayed 2 nights on our way south. Followed previous suggestions on getting into park rather than Google GPS directions with no problem.

We had a great time; the park is so clean and well keep. the staff are really nice to work with. we are looking forward to coming back soon.

Always a pleasure to stay at Gunter Hill. The check-in host is always pleasant and helpful. The site are level and wide. We have never experienced a problem with the electric or water hookups. The park itself is wooded, providing a degree of privacy at the sites. Simply ha really good camping experience.

We enjoyed our time at Gunter Hill, as we usually do. The only issue is that there are some dog owners who do not keep their dog on a leash nor do they pickup after their dogs.

I have been going to Gunter Hill Campground for more than ten years and the only complaint I have is with the two paved areas that have badly deteriorated. The first is in front of site #1, and the worst is by site#30. The dirt is even coming through this pothole.

There are two loops Catoma, well paved and attended to, and Antioch. Antioch is is bad shape road wise and the laundry facilities were locked. Very inconvenient to go to the other campground. There were no dumpsters in Antioch and the one at the gate was overflowing. Poor management!

We love this campground. The sites are level concrete slabs in the Catoma camping circle and very large; full hookups. The volunteers at registration are always so friendly and helpful. Wish they sold firewood at the parkthats the only negative we can think of.

Stayed in the top half with full connections. Very easy back in with a 41' 5th wheel. Definitely will make reservations to stay again.

This is a really nice campground with big sites and privacy in between sites. The bathrooms were clean and the laundry room was nice. You can bring a boat as they have a boat ramp. It is a quiet area and it is very good for relaxing and enjoying a good campfire. The price is very reasonable. We would definitely return.

Great location to visit Montgomery, which we did on our Civil Rights tour. Aside from that, this is one of the nicest ACOE campgrounds we’ve stayed in. East to get to, CATOMA sites are easy in & out, spacious, level, concrete & well kept. Facilities also have laundry, more than 1 machine! Although one can walk around the campground, there is no other walking trails. Also, don’t expect water access with a kayak or canoe, except from marina. With full hook up, you see a lot of 2-week stays here, so get your reservation early!

Excellent RV campground. The sites were well conceived and executed. I also liked the scarcity of street lights and signs. The campground was very natural and yet fully capable for big rigs.
